  1. Some brilliant alternate angles in the EFtv highlights package which should be up soon
  2. Thanks for your comments guys, they really are appreciated. I know that my enjoyment of the result was tempered by the knowledge that we had let some folk down, we are perfectionists and it hurts when things don't go to plan. Disappointed that some have escalated their complaint to Paypal which could result in us losing some credibility on that front but hopefully folk see what we are trying to do & accept some issues. The alternative is nothing.
  3. Just watched the side camera footage. The no 18 Hamilton plays Waldo onside by at least a yard. The disallowed goals are clear fouls more obvious from the wider angle
  4. We had a camera in line with the 18 yard box so we’ll see when we get the footage
  5. When you see the disallowed goals they are clear fouls by Neill. Thing is if he didn’t foul both guys would have scored anyway. Any anger should be directed at one person
  6. This an amazing game for the neutrals but not for the faint hearted! 50-75 minutes was the more nerve wracking period for the home support but we were in the ascendancy for the last 15 minutes. Both managers agreed that it could have ended up 7-7. Two teams going for it made it really entertaining particularly in the first half. The issues with the stream is as frustrating for us as it is to the viewers BUT we genuinely believe we have identified & rectified the issues. Dumbarton game will be so much better.
  7. Unfortunately EFtv will not be streaming for overseas viewers from Starks Park this Saturday. Raith have decided, as they are entitled to do, to deal with all streaming formats for this game. Please remember that the receipts from streaming are shared between the clubs so viewing on Raithtv will also benefit East Fife.
  8. A few points from previous posts; We do not use Pixellot. The league 1 & 2 clubs that have installed that system have invested a five figure sum with fairly hefty ongoing annual fees. We felt that it wasn’t worth it & can produce as good a service ourselves. The club has already made substantial investment in the hardware & software we already have over the last couple of years. I’m sure all the teething problems that clubs are having with Pixellot will be sorted over the coming weeks but then so will our own issues / mistakes. We have ‘spies’ watching our streams & reporting back to us live on any issues. As mentioned previously we were aware of initial issues last night but immediately rectified the high CPU usage that were causing these issues. The reports we received said that once that was sorted within the first 5 minutes the stream was good & constant with clear audio. Any issues out with that time frame were not from our end. The quality of what the viewers see is dependent on the quality of their internet as well as ours. The final final viewing figures for last night have still to be confirmed but suffice to say the numbers were down on the free trials with a good few emails with Blue Brazil or Cowden names. You can take from that what you want. On Saturday EFtv will only be live streaming to overseas fans as the streaming rights are with the home side. Please bear in mind that even the streaming fees for cup ties are split equally between the two sides so I would urge anyone wanting to watch the game to subscribe to Raithtv. I know that might stick in some people’s throats but it will help us financially too. Finally in response Sammy’s comments about contacting fans. Every season ticket holder is asked for an email address, some choose not to give one, some don’t have an email address. Every season ticket holder is notified via email of important information, the remaining ones are sent paper copies via the post. Those paper copies contained the same info about EFtv but I would suggest that if someone doesn’t have an email address they are unlikely to use the internet to watch football as all services require that to allow registration. I have to say that I was more nervous about streaming last night than about the actual game & that will probably be the case at most games this season. We are committed to providing the best service that we can. The club will make no further money from ST holders for streaming league games (their investment is greatly appreciated) so will only generate income through non-ST holders subscribing in numbers.
  9. We had an issue with high CPU usage right at the start but from the feedback we have received so far it would appear the stream held up well thereafter. Replays will come, unfortunately Laura got a wee bit too excited at Waldo’s goal so missed the opporchancity to replay it. It was a bit nerve wracking for us tonight as we really felt a lot of responsibility to give a good product. Everything will improve week on week, we are totally committed to doing that. Highlights will be available ASAP. Hopefully have alternative angle highlights as well.
  10. Friendly Match v Dunfermline Athletic Live on EFTV On Saturday we host Dunfermline Athletic in a closed-door friendly match at the Locality Hub Bayview Stadium. Kick-off is 2pm. Strictly no spectators will be admitted but you can watch live on East Fife TV for £3. Please note, this game is not included as part of your season ticket or virtual element. To sign-up, visit www.eftv.info
  11. We have nearly 300 season ticket holders & Stenny nearly 200 so probably only half decided to tune in! The big test will come when we have to stream to 600-900 for a home game. I would imagine that whilst say 150 Montrose supporters would attend a game at Bayview there could be 400 want to watch it from their own homes + all of our fans. Will be great to try it out though!
  12. MTF, we peaked at 240 viewers last night & the vast majority said the stream was good. It is not always the streaming feed that causes problems but the viewer's own internet connection can also be an issue. We are always looking at ways to improve the stream & will continue to do so. Stick with us on that.
  13. The deal we have with our sponsors is that in (a full season) the home kit is worn 18 times & the 2nd & 3rd kits 18 times between them. So for every time we wear the home kit away then we wear the away kit at home. Sometimes the ref will make us wear our away kit at home if the away teams kits clash with ours. Simples
  14. No EF wore black in both the visits to Airdrie last season but wore the white / red kit at home with Airdrie wearing black
  15. All live streaming of league one games must be through the club’s officially website or dedicated media channel with a direct individual link. We can also check if someone is illegally on streaming a feed & shut that person out. It is also against the law never mind the rules to stream competitive games without receiving payment for that service. It will be very interesting to see what the SPFL say about some club’s idea of free streaming to local nursing homes etc, that’s just not allowed.
  16. In the words of Billy Connolly ....and his puss was shut! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  17. Guys only reported back last night & it’s a military operation to get into the Oriam just now so no pics as yet, stay tuned though! Everyone present & correct and more importantly, fit as fiddles
  18. I can assure you that streaming of games within the UK & ROI will not be available except through the home clubs streaming channel. It’s their home game therefore their receipts. From what I understand overseas folk will still be able to access the away team’s stream though. It may be that due to distancing regulations away teams might be stuck in the corner of a stand rather than on a gantry and away teams may be restricted to filming for video analysis purposes. It’s all to be sorted fully
  19. We won at Inverness the first tie we played there without having a single shot on target! Paul Cherry scored our goal with a fantastic diving header
  20. Inverness at home & it’s a perfect group
  21. Had a cracking blether with Thomas Collins last night. Should be up on EFtv in the next couple of days. Now I know how to record zoom chats hopefully I’ll get a few more interviews done before the players get back to training.
