The Ibrox pitch and ours are the same dimensions. So, nothing our players shouldn't be used to.
Looks bigger! Guess with the larger stands, etc.

They are not as good as you are making out far from it.
Yes, but it’s a big park. An early goal for them, and that formation will make it difficult for us to come back.
think Mullen will start up top in a 4-4-1-1 type formation.

Spartans are either amateur or p/t. At that level it amounts to pretty much the same team. Doubt they have any players getting paid for than £50 a week.
They do. A fair chunk do.

Recruitment between now and the end of August is key but if Stubbs is questioning his own signings so far why should't the fans be.
Worst fear is he blows all the budget on panic signings, they turn out shite, he gets sacked by November and the new guy has to wheel and deal to get the dross off the books or we are stuck with them and are relegated.
Can't be doing with another season of hoping there is a team more shite than us.We don't have until end of August. The window closes on the 9th of August.
I think that’s just England...

The problem for me last night was not an overall poor display but a lack of a skill set with some players. Some guys can have an off day but you can still see they can read a game, trap and pass and work hard even if it isn't always coming off. However last night some looked totally devoid of the quality required at this level. Maybe they were nervous or rusty but improvements better be meteoric however for a couple of them I doubt that it will be.
Yeah, agree with that.
couple of times we showed a lack of game intelligence. At one point, one of our forward players trapped the ball and turned to his right and move the ball back in to midfield. If he’d looked up to his left, Mullen was free and would have went 1-on-1 with the keeper. The entire stadium could see it.

Anyone help me how to report this as I have had nothing to do with quotes. Data protection?
Between here and BAWA, you are all over the shop.
Maybe give the interweb and posting a break for a couple of days!

I once heard Johnstone being described as 'the bit paisley shat oot'
Summed the place up perfectly for me.
And not a good shite. One involving a curry, Mexican, Guinness and a kebab heading up the road.

I remember we were playing Dundee Utd at Love Street and Derek was walking up the slope towards the North Bank at the same time as me.
For some reason there were both St. Mirren and Dundee Utd mascots that day and they were getting asked the usual questions about who's your favourite player, etc.
Anyway, it gets to the Utd mascot and he's asked what he thinks the score will be, to which he answers "2-1 to Utd".
Derek went absolutely mental shouting "NAW IT F*CKIN WILNAE YA WEE F*CKIN PR*CK, WE'RE GONNAE PUMP YOU C*NTS!"
He's not just Saints daft, but also just plain daft.
I used to travel on the Wee Barrel bus when I was a kid with my old man and Derek used to travel on it too.
I remember hearing a story that he got made redundant from a company and was driving along the motorway when he saw a truck belonging to the company. Driving his old school mini he proceeded to put the foot down and ram in to the truck!
Not sure if it's true but you wouldn't put it past him!

Is that the guy that always wears the black and white wig at Saints games? Sometimes paints his face on a special occasion too...

Also remember D&Ps were appointed by the court so if there was a known conflict of interest by them and they never informed the judge then someone is going to be held accountable and it aint gonna be the judge.
You sure they were appointed by the courts? I thought Whyte appointed them before another administrator was appointed by the courts.

The current deal is worth £65,000,000 a year. It goes up to £80,000,000 next season.
Eh, naw it isn't! It doesn't even clear £20m a season, I think it works out at £15m a season.
If it was that much then Imrie wouldn't have been the only signing of the transfer window that money changed hands!!

Another contradiction is that it is claimed he doesn't have a passport, and yet he fought in Vietnam. How did he get into Vietnam without a passport?
Haha! I can just imagine all the American soldiers standing at the vietnamese border control. "what's the purpose of your visit?" "to get some!!!"
World War II should never have went ahead as those pesky Nazis didn't get their passports stamped heading in to Poland!

I've managed to get an account through on RangersMedia and have been posting on there for a wee while under the name "MaxPower". I set my location as The moon for a joke, but I seem to have got away with it.
Someone else off the Killie forum has been posting with the name "Amanda Hugandkiss" and registered just after they went into admin.
We've blended in so far, but we'll start to take the piss eventually. 5th columnists are better than outsiders.
You've just blown your cover agent. Hide your username ASAP....!

Good appointment for QoS, can grid out results with limited resources.
Get your money on 4 x 0-0 scorelines against the Accies.

Is a shame you weren't over here when Andrew Johns was playing because he was arguably the greatest ever rugby league player. In all honesty there isnt too much atmosphere at sports games here compared to Europe.
Big Wendell, Gasnier and Benji are all good players but Slater, C.Smith, Ingles and Cronk are all better
Yeah went to a game at the ANZ and there was only about 11,000 people there, not great!
Can see your Melbourne colours coming out there!!! They aren't portrayed in the media too well in Sydney, the CEO and coach especially. But from what I had seen they had been the best team all year, didn't think they would fall apart as much as they did from missing Smith from the Grand Final.

Had never watched a League until I moved out to Sydney a few months back, and only went cause I got a couple of freebies off a member of my family who is part of the Dragons set up. But since then I have been hooked, and been to quite a few games, with my last being the Storm v Cronulla semi final where i paid a measly $10 for a ticket!
have to say I started following the Dragons as the WIN stadium is best I have been to for atmosphere, and Wendel Salior is a legend! Shame about Gasnier leaving, was a fantastic player! Probably between him, Benji Marshall or Toadd Carney for the best player I have seen live.
Looking forward to the World Cup, wont be hitting any off the Scotland game though due to distance and work. Probably going to the Ireland game up at the Eels stadium and might try take in a few others.

No. Will never happen. Why go from the second top club in Scotland to a team likely to finish anywhere between 9th and 12th?
Christie was called up to the Scotland squad last year and featured heavily. He moved to Celtic for circa £200k, so no way they’d let him move for less than that, and we won’t pay that sort of money. Chuck in the fact he’s wages will be at least double our top wage.
