I know he was crap in the playoffs but I'd have McInroy back in a heartbeat.

Not for me, will still wanting to be commanding a fair wage.  Don't see Thistle even going back in for him.  He jumped at Killie and Premiership football too early and has regressed.  Be interesting to see where he rocks up.

And at best he’s a National League player. Don’t think for a minute he’s going to be good enough for a League 2 side. I’ve never watched him for Ayr and thought he was due a move down South unlike when you watched Akinyemi or even a player like Chalmers.

Chalmers also in same boat looking down south.  Don't see that after his Tranmere spell either.

The players must have a deadline, Nathan McGinley is still technically an Ayr United player for f**k sake, if we offered him a contract, I’m sure he’d sign it within seconds, assuming they had made a mistake.

He's gone, was only a pay as you play deal and was away after Partick game I am sure.

I don’t care who we play pre-season, the games mean nothing and the results reflect nothing.

playing Kilmarnock I guess, benefits them as it will definitely be a competitive game that they need before being pumped out of Europe by a team of Gibraltarian waiters.

Celtic, we’ll get a big crowd and some cash, almost to the point that Ayr fans need not turn up.

Maybe we’ll have signed a player by July.

Aye, feels like it's all went a bit quiet now.  Not even any news on anyone accepting or rejecting contract offers.

And in what form does the inflow of cash take if not borrowing? You’re not seriously suggesting you are going to attract more paying punters to serve the dross you let serve up.

Player fund that fans pay a subscription to, increased hospitality, increased sponsorship, player sales, cup draws etc.  Also, that figure you put up is almost a year out of date now, that was June 2023 and we're nearly at June 2024.

Just wondering when we are moving over to the League 1 forum. Isn't our time here up or are we hanging on by a thread until the start of the new season?

GTF day will come once all the leagues are completed and play offs done and dusted.

Arbroath look to have done some good early business.  Fancy yourselves for the league next year or reckon you'll be hamstrung by McIntyre?

What is the arrangements for your season tickets this season? There seems to be a general £300 adult price then various categories for the new North Stand seating.

So does that means if you get the £300 ticket you can stand in both the SRE and the new enclosure or even sit in the old main stand?

Not too clear but I can be thick at times.

Yeah the new north stand seating ticket is more, but can also go down to the standing areas if you like as well and can usually pop up into main stand and sit on any seat that has not been purchased as a ST or on match day.
