Need to visit Specsavers in Ayr bud
The camera being in a hard position to judge plus being on a bouncy castle doesn’t help.

I thought it was just off tbf.

I normally park on McCalls avenue or West Sanquhar road but for away fans wanting to get on to the 77, the skate park is probably better
If you get there at a decent time, the car park at the old Ianottis is ideal, straight out to the roundabout between the old Police station and Tams brig and miss all the traffic.

We don't seem to be in a rush to bring in a RB so not sure how much that extends to a goalie if he is out long term
Players there that can patch up that position for now (Tomlinson, Stanger, Musonda), but a keeper is different, can’t just have no sub keeper and 3rd and 4th choice are out on loan.

Interview - is everyone fit and available?
Scott Brown - everyone is fit and available*pause*Murph and Nick are both out.
That was the extent of the team news
I wonder if the Mutch injury isn't as bad as first feared then since he's not mentioned it and no back up signing has come in.

With Murphy being out, I wonder if we might see Willoughby start on the left, think he's played there down south. Not sure if Amartey is in Browns thoughts to start, Tomlinson, I would imagine, wont be a right back and looked good in the forward areas on Saturday so could be a shout, but we need someone who will not leave Reading exposed as Murphy has helped him a lot this season. ABM (Anyone but McGeady).

Still no sign of a keeper or an update on Mutch?

After all of the talk, I might actually now get the train to this.
Only £18.90 for a return for me and the wee man from Dunblane with the friends & family railcard (btw if you travel with kids it's definitely worth getting one). It also means I can watch the Calcutta Cup on my phone instead of listening to it on the radio in the car (yes, I also like eggball). If I'm not too worried about pre-match beers, I assume it's better to get off at Newton-on-Ayr.
Aye you’ll need to get off at prestwick then on a shuttle train to Ayr because of the station being limited. Think it should stop at Newton on Ayr, can get a pint in the hub next to the ground.

Wonder if the club looked at moving the Thistle game to the free Saturday on the 9th. Probably would have had a bigger crowd at it.
Probably would have been too late in the day for that I would imagine.
Also think it’s an original date so probably no chance.

Raith (H/A) 1 point
Partick (H/A) 1 point
Dunfermline (H/A) 4 points
ICT (A) 1 point
QP (H) 1 point
Airdrie (H) 3 points
Arbroath (H) 3 points
Dundee Utd (A) 0 points
Morton (H) 1 point
That's my glass half empty, but realistic points from our remaining 1 games. Like I said before, key games are the 4 home matches v Airdrie, Dunfermline, QP and Arboath. Win they 3 out the 4 and possibly a draw, then we should be there or thereabouts re being safe.
ETA - missed the QP game

Only teams that have dawned the dark door of the 4th tier of Scottish football or below need apply, seems to be some missing.

For the league mathematicians on here, how many points do we think we'll need just to be safe in 8th? I would absolutely love to finish higher (not just for the feeling but the higher place finish £) but with such a rebuild required, I don't think I'd want that 4th play off spot. It's put us back in previous years and I'd really like to hit the ground running for next season, giving Broon, Whitty and whatever recruitment team we have, the best chance to build a strong squad.
I reckon we need another 10/11 points to secure safety in 8th, would leave the likes of ICT and Dunfermline needing 15 or so points. Dunfermline away and home if we can get 4 points I reckon keeps us out their reach, we also have Airdrie and Arbroath at home which we need to get 6 points. Beat the teams (or not lose) that are around us and pick up points against the likes of Thistle and Raith at home I reckon we'll be fine. I really hope come Thistle away in the run in of the last 3 we are safe and Brown and the recruitment team can get down to planning for next season. The reverse fixtures that we have left we've got 12 points from, that would see us safe IMO.

From what I can gather..
Ayr lose to Dundee Utd and continue to hold the spud
Ayr finally relinquish their grasp on the tattie by beating Airdrie
Airdrie retain after a goalless draw with Morton
Queens Park take the spud with a defeat at Airdire at Hampden
QP lose to Partick to keep the spud
Dunfermline are the new holders after defeat at the hands of QP
Valiant effort to pass the potato to the league favorite's but a 0-0 draw see's the Pars retain possession.
0-5 defeat at home to Morton Pars retain again
Home draw with Arbroath, Pars hold the potato for the 4th game in a row.
Think that's right however I didn't spend too much time looking into it
Good luck to the red wine sluggers to make sure the Pars retain this again this weekend.

I believe loan players can play for reserves as Holding, Viviani and Jenkins all have but I think it might depends on what the loanee club say could be wrong thou
Holding has, but is playing in WOSFL, as opposed to say Carter Jenkins and Viviani (when he was at Gretna he didn't play reserve). With Gretna and East Stirling playing at a higher level and a more important league, I don't see East Stirling and Gretna wanting their players who are in and around the first team playing reserve football for us and I would say rightly so. I remember Ryan McGowan stupidly played a reserve game for Hearts away to Motherwell on a Tuesday afternoon before playing a league game for us the same night, was terrible as well.

Albinson
McAllister/Musonda Stanger McGinty Reading
Chalmers Syla Dempsey Murphy
Dowds McKenzie
Subs: New GK, McAllister/Musonda, Sanders, Tomlinson, Smith, McHugh, Amartey, Bryden, Willoughby
Think that's as strong as we can go on Saturday. Be surprised to see Chalmers not start 2 in a row. Maybe Bryden starts over Murphy is he is not fit.

In our last match the oldest player was 19.
Amartey, Smith, McHugh, possibly Willoughby, Guthrie, possibly McGeady you would think. Not sure if Ecrepont and Watret are able to play as now out on loan.

Just fucking remembered Dowds won’t be able to play a week on Tuesday against Thistle which is annoying. Hopefully Willoughby can show something next week to take his place.

Really hope we’re working on getting Dowds signed on a pre contract. Even during his dry spell, he was working hard and getting in positions, linking up well. Plays his best football with a partner and him and McKenzie seem to be building an understanding.

Brown will have a few deflection headaches. Stanger back from suspension, wonder if he’ll come straight back in. Possible 2 spaces from 3 in Musonda, Sanders and Stanger for 1 CB spot and RB, not sure if McAllister will be back and probably wanting more experience in there over Tomlinson. Murphy going off yesterday will pose question marks over his fitness. Albinson will be back in goal with Mutch injured. Only certainties will be Syla/Dempsey centre mid with McKenzie/Dowds up top.

Shame General Pishery isn't here to recommend a keeper for us.
Give it Andy Leishman till end of the season.

either that or recall either of Ollie or Derren (thou more likely we'll bring in an emergency loan)
Can’t now I don’t think. Joe Morrison from Celtic who’s highly rated and local I reckon could be a shout with Brown in charge.

If Stewart plays for Thistle on Tuesday, I hope to god we’re shooting from anywhere inside 40 yards.
