Tbf I’ve heard McKenna is contracted until 2025. Could be nonsense obviously but I’d imagine if he continues the way he’s going for the entirety of this season, we’ll get a considerably larger fee when he inevitably leaves
I read txrover's comment above and he may be more up to speed than me on this, but I thought that there's a rule which means you can't offer a youngster a contract past his 17th birthday which is December in the big guy's case. As I say, I could be wrong. Again.
His agent will be weighing up options before he signs anything.
He kept us in the game on Saturday and is undoubtedly an exceptional talent. Get him selt for a squillion quid with loads of add on clauses and loaned back to us.

Hopefully the Rovers change their slippers for boots for the second half.
First goal - it's a foul for QP not Rovers and then there's a two handed push in the back on Paton ignored before the sending off. On the half way line and it's a red?
Beelin!!

A very hard shift for Bruce and I thought that maybe we should have gone with experience in Robson and Longridge at full back, but there won't be many easy games this season, so the young guys will have to deal with challenging days like today.

Far too many unforced errors, not something we've been guilty of so far. And every feckin corner kick went straight to the keeper, which is a recurring theme.
I felt for Cammy Bruce as Lawless absolutely roasted him. Taking him off at half time was probably the lesser of two evils, better than leaving him on.
We're going to have days like this.

The Supporters'Association Facebook page is feck all to do with the football club. An easy one to differentiate between.

Sad to learn that *that* flag came a cropper yesterday
By sad, I mean delighted of course.
QP fans will happily chip in if there is a crowd funding initiative to replace it.

You could argue (and I will) that the FA Cup finals of 1884 and 1885 between Blackburn Rovers and Queen's Park were the nearest things to competitive world championship tussles. We'll gloss over the results though.

It would appear that The Glasgow Branch Clyde Supporters’Club are being used to drive forward this initiative.
Whilst change is needed this is not the time .Wait until we hear what the outcome re Crownpoint is.
The same guys behind "re-sign Goodwillie or you'll lose sponsors". I take no pleasure in saying that your club is fucked.

Come on, Glensmad. Never mind concentrating on the work you have to do for the next game, sort out the pub for the fans for a game a couple of weeks away! Get your priorities right!!

QP win unfortunately, Haugheys financially doped amateurs will stroll it.
Here's hoping. Another 4-0 win would do me.

Could have given them the corner, don’t think it would have increased the number that came, can’t imagine they’re will be any other team will bring less than 146
Quality over quantity.

Just watched the highlights.
The pass from Spong for the goal is simply magnificent. That two or three seconds as the ball slowly rolled goalward seemed like minutes at the time.
Two great saves from McKenna. Another excellent shift from all involved.
Interesting to note the rotation and the subs.

I like how they have a structure and philosophy but unfortunately QP just aren’t a club I like enjoyed them more as an amateur side
Aye, a lot of people preferred us when we were cannon fodder for them. We'll see how it all pans out. It's certainly an exciting time for us.

Not pretty and Arbroath were definitely better, but it's three points for your favourites and a lovely look at the top of the table.
Fox was outstanding and big McKenna was certainly entertaining.

Bala away for the QP. Deepest, darkest Wales. Spunkadelic.
Read it and weep, kids.

It would. But that was before social media named and shamed!

It was a game where one side dominated possession and had complete territorial advantage and deservedly won.
It was nowhere near "one of the most one sided games I have ever seen" though
Depends on the person and the games they've seen.

I was thinking more along the lines of not risking damage to McKenna if there’s a big money signing, with follow-ons, on the horizon. If it’s legit, the coach won’t have a say in his availability. New club, new rules.
Brighton have just pocketed £116m. They could give us £16m and still have £100m to play with. And we'd still have Ferrie. Delicious. I'm in!
Anyway, Saturday. I see us getting better every game and would like to think we can convert a few more chances this week. I can't see the Lichtie defence being that good again. 3-1 to the QP.

A penalty save by the Albert keeper and Thistle hit the post but no more goals so every credit to the Albert. Some decent handbags too. Terrific value for a fiver.

Royal Albert 0 Lugar Boswell Thistle 4 at half time, Albert down to ten men at 0-2. Could have been more at The Stadio Del Alberto. A long second half for the home team.

I've a feeling I already know the answer to this one but..... do we think STs will get the comfy seats?
Previously, members and the free ticket mob were in the comfy seats; season ticket holders were in the "side" stand.

Fair enough just wondered with some games being played at the new place, was fairly sure that league games had to give other teams the same amount of games as each other. You could ask Clyde to come and run in City Park for you they like new surroundings
If it hadn't been for a concert and the upcoming Scotland games, I think we'd have been in Hampden for the start of the season. The arrangement will be at the insistence of the SFA.
On your suggestion re a Clyde move, I'd rather we bulldozed the place.

I saw on the QP highlights that a wee lad in a white top threw something at Dom Thomas after he scored. Hopefully someone at Raith sorts this out.
