  1. I mentioned this on another thread but I can see why some Labour MP's would want to defy the 3 line whip. Some may also use it to undermine Corbyn's leadership.
  2. I'm not an SNP supporter but I think Angus Robertson always put his point across well and gives May a good grilling at PMQ's. Thats the type of character that Labour need.
  3. Just read that Paul Craig used to be a footballer. Who did he play for?
  4. Yeah they're getting millions and millions of compensation...
  5. The Government has launched an inquiry into leaking, after a memo banning leaks was leaked. We are well and truly living in The Thick of It.
  6. Let's get this straight here. A Champions League winning manager (Benitez) and a highly regarded coach in England (McLaren) were both happy to have Cathro as their assistant/backroom staff. He must be doing something right IMO. Is one of the "Top Coaches" you spoke to by any chance Kris Boyd?
  7. If the terms of Article 50 do have to go through parliament then how long would it take for all this to be passed/approved? This itself could take weeks/months.
  8. I don't think it will change much tbh. She was supposedly a "remainer" but was quite sleekit to try and get her foot in Number 10. A bad Brexit negotiation may have afffected the Tories chances of getting back in in 2020.
  9. Day 1 of the Supreme Court Hearing. The BBC are showing this live over the next few days. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-37976580
  10. They've given each judge a "Europhile" rating. How cute.
  11. Did anyone notice he stopped counting at 3 when he was on the surgeons table? A hint that he will return for season 3?
  12. UKIP - omnishambles Lib Dems - Irrelevant shambles Labour - shambles Tories - just a bit less of a shambles than everybody else, but still a shambles
  13. I've lost count of the amount of times that I've said this on this discussion that Brexit will define May as PM. Going by what I've seen so far, she is going to make a bad job of it.
  14. So in theory, Brexit could be on the back burner until: A) the legislative side of things are sorted out with England, Scotland and Wales and B) our current government actually manages to have a f****g clue how they're going to negotiate.
  15. Theresa May is still hopeful of triggering Article 50 in March 2017 - I don't know what to believe now...
  16. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38027230 Another spanner in the works?
  17. Agree and disagree with you on this. I still think we will leave the EU in some capacity but I think it will be on the EU's terms rather than ours. With that said, I think the economic consequences will be dire if we were to go down the "hard Brexit" route.
  18. Much better from Corbyn today in PMQ's and pressing May about the leaked document and under-staffing of the Brexit departments.
  19. Agreed, she gets away with it because Labour are a soft touch. Can you remember how brutal Cameron was to Brown during his tenure as PM? He didn't give him a f***ing inch!
  20. i've said it a few times on here, i'll always support Labour, but they are as weak as water at the moment as an opposition. The Tories must be loving it. Corbyn said the party would vote against triggering art. 50 yesterday and then changed his opinion only a few hours later. Quite incredible as you say!
  21. I still get the impression that the Labour party won't play ball when it comes to Corbyn. Some MP's will scheme against him.
