Had a work night out the other night and my boss started taking to me about work (first PTTGOYN) but then says that I need to "step up" as there will be more pressure on her for the new year....

the new series will start 8th May 2016 hosted by Chris Evans as we all know. I'm looking forward to seeing his format of the show and I hope it has a TFI feel to it

Had an interview on Monday and it went quite well. The guy interviewing said I had the skills necessary to do the job and wanted to invite me in for a 2nd interview to meet the manager I would be reporting too. Get an email today saying I was not successful and would not be getting invited back for a 2nd interview. Unreal man

I bought something when I was up in Glasgow at the weekend and didn't like it, so because I stay in Liverpool I thought I would just return it when i went back down 2 days later. Walked into the shop to return it today and the manager (yes manager) said he couldn't return it as Scotland had a different currency to England. I moved to London by myself when I was 20. Just bite the bullet and do it, you will meet people and you can always join a sports club or student unions where you may also get your hole!

Going through something similar just now and have basically been told "you're not getting the job but we'll interview you anyway". It's their loss and chances are you will find something better soon. Quite right to be raging though
