  1. F**k it into them for voting Tory. What else did they expect?
  2. This ^^^ Nothing from this government over the next 5 years will surprise me in the slightest. Vote Tory, Get Tory.
  3. I'd like to congratulate the Tories on winning the 2024 GE.
  4. I'm trying to think of an example that may cause them a reaction to think that they have made a mistake. e.g. long queues at airports but I have a feeling they may still round an blame the EU and say "they're punishing us for leaving" Terrible example, but I hope it gets my point across.
  5. In regards to the Labour leadership race, I've liked Keir Starmer for a few years and was really impressed with the way he would debate with Brexit secretaries (Davis, Raab and Barclay). I can recall him tearing the Repeal Bill to shreds back in 2017. A former DPP, he can scrutinise detail and cut through the BS. He gets my vote. I don't agree that the next leader "has to be a woman", I'd much rather they found the right candidate with the right qualities.
  6. I agree with you - done nothing to deserve it. But he has a big majority and will get stuff through quite easily.
  7. My opinion on this now is that I hope Boris goes for the hardest Brexit possible and every Tory voter deserves what they get whatever happens. The same also applies to the NHS, trade, benefits etc. Vote Tory, Get Tory.
  8. Having had a day or so to reflect on the Labour hiding, here’s some points as to why I think they lost: 1. Leadership - Corbyn isn’t liked by a large number of the electorate. 2. Senior Aides/Campaign Strategy- I look at the Tories with Dominic Cummings behind the scenes. Love him or hate him, he knows how to run a campaign from his time at Vote Leave and Keep Britain Out (joining the Euro currency). Labour haven’t got that experience for me and I no longer know what Seamus Milne does. 3. Brexit - Boris had an oven ready deal as he liked to constantly remind us. The Labour alternative of a further negotiation and then 2nd referendum seemed pie in the sky and may have put voters off potentially.
  9. I am sh*tting myself for the exit poll tonight! No idea what to expect!
  10. No SNP candidate for me in Liverpool, so a cross in the box for the Labour candidate instead.
  11. Johnson was a mess tonight. Is the tide starting to shift?
  12. Former Everton boss Alan Irvine to be named new boss by Thur Source?
  13. Wee bit off topic slightly but I’m sad to see that Angus Robertson won’t be standing as a candidate anywhere in the GE!
  14. couldn’t agree more with what you’ve said here. By chance I often catch his LBC show driving home from work and I can’t believe nobody calls him out on the amount of times he changes his mind. For months he said that the EU should give us a “Canada style deal or “Canada plus”. Now he’s all about the hard exit and trading on WTO terms...
  15. Keeps him in a job I guess, that's the way I look at it
  16. The Brexit Party are polling at 9%. That’s everything you need to know.
  17. Living in England means I can't vote SNP, so Labour it is.
  18. Folk who let the shower run for about 5 mins before getting in it.
  19. I live in her constituency and the CLP were ready to deselect her.
  20. I think Boris is going to get a deal by the looks of it! As much as it pains me to say it!
  21. I’ve got a feeling this is it and this deal will pass. With the hard Tory right now on his side, they will vote for the deal. The Labour MP’s who represent Leave constituencies will also vote for it.
