Something happened!!!

This is absolutely chronic stuff. All the urgency and atmosphere of a bounce game.

This game is being played with about the same urgency and excitement levels of Jermain Jenas's commentary.

They're all great. Colin the psychic vampire is also great. Matt Berry steals the show for me though.

That's more true at the HW division thoigh...you'll get called out at the lighter weights. The sheer amounts of belts and governing bodies now are ridiculous. The WBC are particularly bad for it. Making up belts to get a hefty sanctioning fee each time.

The toilets at Parcelforce however were spotless.

And people that would take a massive dump and not even bother flushing after.

I was a courier at Yodel in Perth and pish on your shoes would've been the least of your worries there. Every stall seemed to be like that toilet from Trainspotting. Folk that seemed to delight in missing the pan (ones and twos), toilet paper all over the floor and stuck to the walls. Jobbys smeared all over the walls. Think on that when you get a parcel from them. Not me obvs, I'm a hygienic sort.

Tbf he must be pushing 60, no? And he seems to have stopped making films since they started paying him to make these shitty ads. And he was in every other film as a film actor. Doing it right I'd say.* * he's a smug twat though. Eta he seems to be playing a version of himself. By all accounts a decent guy. The ads are awful though.

Considering you were only in the room when it was on that's a surprising amount of detail.

It was a basketball show, rather than an endorsement for capital punishment for those, probably everyone, that doesn't remember it.

And Hang Time was always a fave.

The thing that worries me is that they could all retire undefeated without ever having faced each other, legacy intact, and blaming money and politics, which tbf is true to a large extent, and all to be argued who'd have beaten who into their all age. As they laughed into their money. Not one of them can have a shelf life of more than a few years now.

Don't hold back on your thoughts of Hanging With Mr Cooper now...we should know.

What We Do In The Shadows was just great TV. Matt Berry could read you the phone book and you'd be rapt with his rich, fruity tones. The council of vampires bit was a lovely touch too.

See, this has occupied my thoughts far more than it should but I'm now convinced it's from an album cover that had pictures of people with pointy heads playing sax etc on the cover. Like a painting, not real people.

Don't know if there's a separate thread for What We Do in She Shadows, but the episode where they take the Baron on a night out on the town is amazing. I'm guessing quite a bit of this is adlibbed. The scene where the Baron asks the vampires what he wants to try for the first time and Matt Berry mutters 'copropagia?'and he says pizza pie over the top of him had me in bits. Great show, loved the film too.

One of the things I found helpful is to make sure you've got a decent set of lightish strings while you get going. You don't need to be going all Jimmie Ray Vaughan. Then find the type that suits you as you get going along.
