  1. Steel stairs match sounds pretty ridiculous but I agree, the prospect of Ziggler vs Harper in a Ladder Match is tremendous. Only listened to the first half of the Austin-McMahon podcast. Will try and get the rest soon.
  2. I don't really get the point of a TLC match unless there's something hanging to climb the ladder for. I think we can probably add AJ vs Nikki rematch, Ziggler vs Harper rematch and Gold/Stardust vs the New Day. Probably something terrible involving Adam Rose and the Bunny too.
  3. I suppose. He looks quite a versatile wrestler, although we haven't seen much of him in longer singles matches. Thinking of his dives out the ring and previously seeing him doing a hurricanrana. They'll maybe find something else for him along the line. The big sit-down powerbomb he does is usually quite impressive.
  4. I like Harper's clothesline. It looks especially good with Ziggler selling it though. Agree that the Shellshock is rubbish. It's a good move to show Ryback's strength, but he often struggles to pull it off, and there's little impact. The World's Strongest Slam is rubbish as well.
  5. Whittaker made a few crucial tackles in Poland and I think he would've played in this game. Maybe at left back again but now it'll maybe be Whittaker at right back and Robertson returning on the left. Really looking forward to both of these games. Genuine big game feel despite one being a friendly. It seems the apathy towards the national team for the last few years has gone to a certain degree.
  6. I think they might play on Cena only having 4 people willing to join his team or something like that, then Orton returns on the night of Survivor Series to join him. I know he's due to go away filming but he could maybe join up for the one night. I wonder where they're going with Rusev. I reckon he'll probably have his rematch with Sheamus but that'd mean he's rejected the Authority's advances. Unless they're on opposing teams and the defence happens another time.
  7. Anyone get tickets for this? I got mine this morning. Went for the VIP tickets (£65) to get a photo and autograph. Pretty steep but thinking of it as a one-off. There were tickets going up to £100 (Gold Package), which included priority seating, two autographs, a photo and a picture of him but I didn't think that was much better than the VIP one.
  8. There was a pre-sale run through Noel Gallagher's website this morning. A message appeared on his Facebook on Monday and you had to sign up to the mailing list and they sent you a link.
  9. Exact same thing happened to me. Was on at 9am, got right through and told it had sold out. Left it until about 9.15am, chanced it and got two seating tickets. I'll be trying again for Friday though. Sure I'll find someone to take the spare tickets.
  10. Sounds good but I'm assuming Cena will be getting another shot because he won the last match.
  11. Was this the Rumble that he was fairly chucked out by Sid and responded by pulling him out from outside? That's very much heel behavour.
  12. Agree with the point about Rose. Just feel that there is far too much filler. It's a three hour show that they struggle to fill with quality material but it'd be so much easier if they played to the strengths. Instead, over the past month we've had a lot of time dedicated to the awful Bellas. On Monday, there was about a 30 second 'match' between Total Divas cast members. They obviously aren't confident in them having a match so just cut them and give the time to someone who can wrestle and/or talk a wee bit. A one minute match for Adam Rose, what is that achieving? Hopefully Ambrose returning will spark it into life a bit. They've stacked the deck slightly for Raw next week because they're up against the NFL now so hopefully it gets better.
  13. Very poor Raw. The Bellas are awful. I'd love to see them put AJ over Steph but that's not likely to happen. With regards to the opening segment, Triple H threatened to take the spot against Lesnar off Cena and said he had to prove himself later. So why did they then, proceed to advertise the match throughout the show and why did Cena tag out and let Reigns seal the victory?
  14. I'm not one to criticise much as I just try to enjoy it but that Bella's segment was absolutely dreadful. They are both absolutely woeful in my opinion. A shame the length of time their segments have been getting when there's some decent talent on the sidelines. Golddust & Stardust turning heel is a bit weird but I'm hopeful it'll work. I still feel that this whole Stardust stuff was unneccesary. The pop for Goldust & Cody (as it was) when they won on their return and then when they won the titles on Raw was brilliant. They had a bit of momentum but then made them lose the titles to the New Ages Outlaws on the pre-show on the Royal Rumble. They didn't really do anything with them afterwards and the momentum has totally gone.
  15. Not sure then, only read that today. Recognise a few of those names. Went to a show in Greenock recently and Rampage Brown, Noam Dar and El Ligero were on it (along with Grado & Jack Jester). A few more of them probably were too but can't remember the names. El Ligero looked decent and done a pretty sick somersault from the stage onto the floor without any padding and metal rails on either side of him.
  16. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment/celebrity/comedy-wrestler-grado-lands-big-4087222 Grado off to boot camp.
  17. Maybe an Authority person to keep Triple H's Plan C thing going. I can see him acting all triumphant until Heyman/Lesnar basically say that he doesn't need to bother with all the PPVs and Triple H tries to get the title back off him somehow. He'll have to entrust someone he doesn't get on with (hopefully a returning Bryan but probably Reigns) to save the day and the company, effectively.
  18. I think Lesnar will win again but it'll be a totally different match. Maybe some Heyman interference or Cena running him a lot closer this time.
  19. Can't see I seen a great deal of WCW either. I used to watch the first hour of Nitro on TNT before Raw on a Friday night when I was a youngster but I didn't see much outside of the WWF bubble. Was always aware of the goings on and the bigger names through reading Powerslam etc but didn't really see many PPVs or anything like that. I remember being gutted at how the Invasion storyline panned out though. I thought that was going to be absolutely amazing but obviously there were issues with the contracts of the top stars like Goldberg & Sting.
  20. Would make sense I suppose as they haven't even mentioned him. Someone told me he totally denied it on Twitter but I suppose he has to.
  21. I think I seen Heath beat Doink the Clown once.... Wasn't the worst Raw, started well with a couple of decent matches. Is Kane turning face again? They seem to change him every few months. Is he off to promote his movie maybe? Brock-Cena video package was top notch as always. Good way to protect their headline match considering neither was present. Really hope Brock wins this but that'd be very hypocritical of me as I wasn't happy when the Rock beat CM Punk. Stephanie-Brie ending Raw again. Do they really think that's what the people want? Segment wasn't the worst, granted, and Stephanie was good throughout. There was no need for it to headline again though. I'm expecting Nikki to turn against Brie at some point. Looking forward to Rollins vs Ambrose. Also, where's Sheamus?
  22. I can see Clay vs Tensai headlining shows in Japan.....
