  1. Maguire more than Akinyemi I think. Just be very physical with them early on and don't give them space. Just hope we don't repeat Tuesday again. Part almost hopes the crowd isn't that great as we bottle it anytime more than 5K turn up.
  2. Slender 20 year old playmaker gets pushed off ball when caught out vs experienced defender not defending. Big difference there. Donaldson may do well against the diddies in this league but has been found out against Airdrie and Dunfermline when it mattered. It's not digs when the proof is there to back it up. It's literally pointing out failures!
  3. The set piece was a result of Donaldson backing off and letting their winger get a ridiculously easy attempt at goal.
  4. Bottled it when it matters. Donaldson for the first and Morrison for the 2nd. Fucking amatuer stuff. Never even looked like troubling them. The cup is now the focus until May.
  5. I'm calling you a Fife c**t. At least I'm talking facts.
  6. I'm totally chilled/pished. Pressure is all on those c***s.
  7. Absolutely no nerves from me. I've had the attitude for weeks that we are almost out of it and that tomorrow is more or less a free hit. If we get the first goal then Dunfermline will start to feel the pressure and will need to come at us. If we lose tomorrow then we go into the play-offs as favourites in my eyes and have a cup quarter-final next week to get excited about. Still a exciting end to the season in my eyes compared to the last 3 or 4 years dross.
  8. Supposedly feeling unwell and that is why he came off. Hopefully something he got over quick because he'd be a big miss in there.
  9. Hopefully they don't set up like at TFS. At home they will be more open and if we got at them like the last game at EEP I think we will get plenty joy. I don't see us passing up the same chances we did then.
  10. Henderson has been so much better in midfield and I think this game will suit him more than any. Despite his slender stature he loves a tackle and will probably look forward to the battles in the middle of the park. At Airdrie last week he strolled it.
  11. Horses for courses. Hendo and McGinn will win the battles in midfield. I think they need to start on Tuesday. Max is a great option off the bench.
  12. Good to see the north stand at 1.39% capacity today. In terms of football, they will collapse after the first goal but getting that first goal looks improbable so far.
  13. Renting out the bar space and the gym side of the building. Possibly move some functions from the main stand to reduce rent we pay the council? Might be worthwhile but I don't know the numbers so who knows.
  14. It is out-with the Blackout time so I imagine it may well be available. Possibly not announced until late afternoon on Tuesday.
  15. Overnight temps on Monday look like they will be lower than they were at new year. With half the park in the shade the day time temperatures won't really make too much of a difference so hopefully they DAFC put some effort into getting it on this time. We are 2 points closer than we were at New year so if it gets postponed again it probably goes in our favour and give us plenty time to prepare for the Ayr game.
  16. I noticed how quiet the Falkirk one seems to be now. Falkirk will be back at Brockville soon enough if it doesn't pick up.
  17. I sit in the KM Stand so wasn't aware of that. That obviously shouldn't happen and should really be the stewards responsibility.
  18. I'm not disputing that it is good the fans are being listened to. That is fantastic but I just don't understand what is uncomfortable about it. It could cost £100 to open the north stand or it could cost £1000 to open it for a game. I genuinely don't know. If we open the NS for 8-10 more games over a season surely that equates to so many hundred FSS subscriptions over a season or so many dozen season ticket sales getting absorbed into an unnecessary cost? Just trying to create a relatable comparison.
  19. Struggle to see what makes them uncomfortable. They are segregated throughout the match. The only cross over is the concourse areas. We have hosted away fans in the main stand for a decade now so not sure why its now an issue.
  20. The cost will naturally be higher than having such small numbers in the main stand so it's going to be a saving whatever way you look at it. Off the top of my head the following teams all do it whenever they are in the lower leagues. It's just common sense. Dunfermline, Raith, Ayr Utd, Hamilton, Clyde, Airdrie Partick, Killie, Morton, St Mirren, Dundee, ICT, Ross County. Why do you think we should be so different?
  21. Not sure if anybody will know but do the club have data to show how many kids take up the free ticket offer? It would be interesting to see if there any trends to show how much of that support we maintain into teenage years and also how it compares to previous years. A cost/benefit analysis will show how well it works. If Ineos had supported it then presumably they must have numbers to based their sponsorship on?
  22. Raise it 10% and leave it at that. Do away with the free kids tickets unless you are buying more than 2 then you could do 3 for 2's on kids tickets for larger groups/families. Add an extra £1 on tickets that are bought on the day to encourage people to buy early (especially away fans). I have no idea what the cost of opening the north stand is but this should never happen unless we are accommodating a way crowds of 400+. I know there were some issues at the QOS game but there must be a better solution as the cost of opening catering facilities and having stewards for the stand is surely unnecessary.
  23. It is. Bank rolled an amateur team in the Stirling league and thinks he can treat other teams the same way to work his way up.
