  1. The Next Three Days - 8/10 Pretty decent thriller with Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks. No major twists or plot changes but very good none the less.
  2. I've got a bit of a dent on the inside of my alloy wheel from hitting a pothole. Does anyone know if an ordinary garage would be able to fix it, or would I need to take it to a specialist place somewhere?
  3. If its fixed price and you offer the price then it should be yours, you could chance your arm and offer under in the hope they might accpet it. When I bought my flat 4 years ago I offered 20% over the offers over price, as this was the going rate at the time. Don't know if that has decreased any because of the housing market crashing lately.
  4. Metal Gear SOlid 4 for PS3 if anybody is interested in buying or swapping something for it!!
  5. Why is that when you buy new trainers they hav laced up the 2 shoes differantly???
  6. Got tickets for Arcade Fire on 12th December at SECC. Havent been this excited bout goin to see a gig in ages!! Wish it had been the Barrowlands instead of the SECC tho.
  7. In Bruges - 9/10 I love this film. Not usually a Colin Farrell fan but he is terrific in this with some cracking lines.
  8. Nope, you just hope that they get beat 5-4 or the like in every game!!
  9. Just done another 2 miles there....I think I'm turning into some sort of human running machine (but with a 2 mile limit)
  10. Went out for a run when I got home from work there, start of my new fitness regime (just hope this one lasts). 2 miles in 19 miles, didnt think this was too bad fr my first time running in a while. Also used my Nokia sports tracker which is similar to the Nike iPod thing, think anyone with a Nokia phone that has GPS can download it.
  11. Equilibrium - 4/10 I remember watching this when it came out a few years ago and thought it was pish. Then I watched it again tonight to give it another chance, its still pish. The film doesnt make sense, everyone has to take a traquilizer every day so that they stop feelin emotions so that it will end all wars and all paintings, decoritive items etc which would bring people feelings are contaband (WTF!!!) But you can quite cleaerly see the characters showing emotion, happy, sad, angry etc I know some didnt take their tranquilizers and thats why they felt emotions. But the black cleric showed plenty of emotion but was still taking his. The fighting scenes were either totally overdone or looked like somethin out a crap 80's movie. And it's got Brian Connelly in it!!! Utter bollocks really.
  12. I started watching this the other day and turned it off after 40 mins, pile of rubbish. Even Luis Guzman couldn't save it!!
  13. WHere'd you book the tickets from? Im looking to get the train down to London in a couple of months but its lookin at £100.
  14. Thirst - 8/10 Korean vampire movie directed by Park Chan-Wook who is the guy who directed Oldboy, Lady Vengeance and JSA. Its about a Korean priest who volunteers for a medical experiment to try and find a cure for a deadly virus, however the virus truns him into a vampire, the rst of teh story is then about him falling in love with an old firends wife and dealing with his actions aas a vampire. A very good film and alot better than 95% of Hollywood vampire rubbish. Well worth a watch.
  15. I have a copy of Fable 2 for Xbox 360 if anyone is interested in swapping.
  16. Jennifers Body - 2/10 1 point for having Megan Fox in it and another point because she has a lesbian kissing scene. Absolute terrible film, switched it off with 45mins still to go.
  17. This is England - 9/10 Love this film and the scene right towards the ends with Combo and Milky, could cut the atmosphere wit a knife.
  18. Just had a couple of scrambled egg rolls there to kick off the day. Heading out to the pub soon for a full day of beer and football. Might need to get a massive fry up in the pub just to help soak up all the alcohol.
  19. You spend half the day and spend a bloody fortune making somethin out a recipe book and it looks f**k all like it does in the picture and doesnt taste very good either!!!
  20. A Serious Man - ?/10 One of those films that you dont really have any idea what to give it. Its the new film by the Coen brothers about a jewish guy whos life starts to fall to pieces when his wife starts seeing another guy, he has to move out his house and has problems at work. Its kinda like Lost in Translation where nothing really happens, there are no great plot twists or anything like that, your just basically watching the story of this guys life and problems. Quite a few laugh out loud dark comedy moments. The ending is very very strange tho, it just stops as the film seems to be climaxing and something seems to be about to happen, I felt there should have been another half an hour or so left to go.
  21. I have a sealed copy of Fifa 10 for teh Xbox 360 that I'll do for £28 posted.
  22. Mumford and Sons - Roll Away Your Stone
  23. Night Watch and Day Watch - 7-10 Gave them a combined score as you really need to watch them to get the full stroy. Not quite as action packed as I'd hoped or as the box leads you to beleive but pretty decent vampire films.
  24. Sealed copy of Mirrors Edge on Xbox 360 for trade.
