I think UEFA is getting fed up with clubs running with dodgy finances and if the national association is their enemy too then they are in a lot of trouble. If Rangers think with an under 22 side they will be able to withhold a raft of Scotland Team players then they are still showing massive contempt for the SFA, UEFA and FIFA. Besides most of the useful national players would be in england anyway playing their trade there. I have duly noted that County are doing work to bring Victoria Park up the SPL standards. Is Firhill up to those standards already? The domestos woiuld work better with terracing though.

So the bears groups are climbing over themselves to be the most vigilant in the struggle against the enemies. How fractured is there support. The first bit sounds like theey are about to unite with a sworn enemy not another support group from the same club! The only way that this business benefits the SFA is that they might get a wee bit of credibility in Scotland for doing what is right.

I feel that the SFA telling Rangers that they can't register any new players is like putting a condition on their SFA licence and the SFA run things so it is their rules - If you don't like it go and become a Junior, Amateur or Welfare setup - just go away. Rangers are just bloody lucky not to be out of a club if the punishment relates to inappropriate actions.

I can see a stadium there - you don't think they have one of them after all this. For mine they can appeal but I would seee the SFA changes its tune as a backflip and a half. I would have thought it would take away from any credibility they have also.

What a difference a day makes. I thought this forum would get to about 560 before we had a result. We don't have a result yet, but Ragners seriously are fucked now. The SFA have made things extremely difficult for them and I don't like Rangers chances of wiggling out of the legalities - remembering that THEY HAVE BROKEN MANY LAWS HERE. The HMRC willg o in the the kill soon and we'll be put out of their misery. RangersMedia has shown us how ridiulous the Bears are being about this and how irrelevant they have become. I am owrried about the wrap this is giving all of us. Rangers have been rorting the system for quite a while. I like a wee example from Australia where they striped a Rugby League team of Championships because of financial irregularites which contrevened their salary cap -> Start ripping those stars of the kit. If the HMRC can prove negligent wrong doing then perhaps the SFA can strip them of any titles earned in the meantime. This wee forum and optional add-on links including Rangers Media have made this an extremely entertaining experience.

Wouldn't have thought being called "something" Rangers would be an issue as there is already Berwick Rangers, Cove Rangers, Brora Rangers and Cambuslang Rangers. Those bears are so loyal I'm sure they'll pay top dollar even in Div 3 As for playing somewhere - I concur with earlier thoughts of sharing at Firhill giving Partick a million pounds a year and some Domestos too kepp the place tidy, Doesn't matter what team they have - they will be despised as a club by most fans in the country.

That figure would probably even cover how much that is needed to be spent on the police for Rangers games...

I don't think Rangers really care - makes it easier for them to get a sixth star.

I m a wee bit frustrated by the delays, BUT I don't mind the bears getting a wee dose of fear through them and to feel how some diddy teams feel - mildly responsible for the money they spend.

So Rangers have been doing sometihing (EBT) which HMRC has never liked and has decided with its deep pockets to clamp down on and will probably win. But we will prboably see a newco Rangers team next year in the SPL with wide grins on their younger faces and denail of wrongdoing. This type of wiping the slate clean after overspending to then do it again and again should be illegal and the SFA is well within their rights but unlikely to punish them for it which is what most folk here want otherwise we'll all go off and follow Cambuslang, Abbey Vale, Banks O'Dee or some other junior team because they have so little money and haven't lost sight of what the game is about. We follow a team and pay to watch them play, they get some money perhaps in the SPL for TV but if noone gets the TV subscriptioin then they have no money to pay the clubs with. But Scottish Football is bigger than some diddy TV deal if we let it be so.

What about 2 minutes silence or something - I have no idea what would work. Or everyone wears black or something...

I like the idea of a mass supporters rally or some such but it always runs the risk of being taken over by the wrong elements.
