Definitely but there's something incredibly depressing about our biggest clubs turning into feeder sides for that level of team down south.
Agreed.
Finances aside, even 10-15 years ago it would sound ridiculous to even suggest that Dundee United would one day become a feeder side for the likes of Brighton or Brentford. Likewise Hibs with Bournemouth.
Unfortunately this is the way the game is going.

I would (and probably will) buy my next car without seeing it. Been a few years since I bought a car and with the way prices have gone since then I don't see that I'll have any choice other than to widen the net.
Won't be any older than 3 years old and if it comes with a service history and some sort warranty I don't think I'd be too worried about not viewing it beforehand. As others have said, a decent description and a good amount of photos would suggest to me it's an honest sale.

I've never yo-yo'd so much with a manager as I have with Kettlewell.
He's fine setting a team up against the likes of Rangers and Celtic when the remit is clear (i.e. - don't get pumped) but against others he has a tendency to tie himself in knots with his selections and systems, usually to our detriment.
I've cooled on the whole "Kettlewell out" shtick but, f**k me, he's frustrating sometimes.

Don't know whether to be more annoyed at VAR or the inevitability of our performance.
Results couldn't have gone better for us the other week and the opposite is true today.
Not sure if the team maybe bought into the top 6 chat but today shows we should still be very much looking down rather than up. Defence back to its best yet again, allowing the opposition a goal with their first real effort.

Please stop doing this.
Thank you.
Tony Watt scored twice for Dundee United at the weekend with Moult getting the winner earlier in the week also.

Not normally one for former players chat but I see Biereth scored away at Lille tonight.
Reckon we'd be a few points better off if St Mirren hadn't tried to maim him at the start of the season.

Jamie "Carra" Carragher getting sacked from his side gig then.
Carragher's patter has always been honking.
Still, at least he didn't spit on anyone.

Drury is hard work
He really is.
Makes the likes of "Fletch" and Sam Matterface almost bearable.

Theres a difference between breaking football rules and literally breaking employment laws.
If you genuinely think you could hire a foreign international and then not pay them a penny for months at a time then you crack on in, but "pay as you play" hasnt existed in reality for about 40 years in professional football.

News to me Moulty had an England cap however.

Everytime one of the arse cheeks are due to play a bigger / better club in Europe one of these articles gets put out.
The irony really is lost on rags like the Record and the S*n.

Don't think results could really have gone much better for us today.

I've probably been one of the biggest, moaniest, critical b*****ds as far as Kettlewell and this team are concerned but what a result that is. Manager and team deserves full credit and I'm quite happy to eat a very large slice of humble pie.

Get Kettlewell to fu
In fact, wait a minute.

24 minutes or 2 Rangers penalties. Whichever comes first.

Fair play. Genuinely thought he'd just chuck it.

I mean you’re kind of just making the same point I tried to. Saying I hope there’ll be two teams worse than us doesn’t necessarily mean there will be. Even a Derek Adams Ross County side would give us a tough game just now if he was still there.

Kettlewell is utterly clueless yet folk will still defend him for some unknown reason.
He should have gone after County pumped us 3-0 but, unbeknownst to everyone, he instead had another year sitting on his contract.
Devine on his wrong side and SOD who is beyond slow out wide yet Kettlewell is screaming at the players to get it out there. WHIT?! Add to that, Gent and Vale who have been 2 of our better players in recent weeks are benched.
Oh and the defence that keeps making the same mistakes week after week make a c**t of it again. I'm sure Kettlewell will comment on it post match but we'll likely be watching the same shitshow against Rangers on Saturday. It's not as if he works with these players day in day out and can coach them or anything like that.
TL;DR - I'm a bit pissed off.

Do we work on defending in training? Same mistakes every game but a good coach / manager can at least get shite players looking organised.
As it is, we're both shite and unorganised. Livi looking dangerous every time they come forward.

Our reserve team not doing us any favours so far tonight.

100%. The obvious compare is Lewis Ferguson at Bologna. When they were both coming through I would have said Turnbull was the superior player, but watching Ferguson strolling round Serie A these days is tremendous. Also Bologna's a fucking brilliant city.
This video is also excellent on the Scotland YouTube channel:
Said it on here before and had a bit of stick for it but I've always said Turnbull made the wrong move going to Celtic. Germany or Italy would have suited him perfectly.

My view on VAR, which has probably already been said, is that it's mostly utter shite.
Goal line technology improved the game and VAR for black and white decisions (e.g. - offsides) would be fine. Where it falls down massively is when it comes to objective decisions such as Theo's handball at the weekend.
The poor standard of refs we have up here were getting a lot wrong pre-VAR but you could just about give them the benefit of the doubt (sometimes) given that they only had one look and a split second to make a decision.
We're now in a situation where officials are getting multiple views of things and are STILL making awful decisions. To be honest I'm surprised more refs (not just in Scotland) aren't calling for VAR to be binned as in the eyes of many it leaves them with no excuse for some of the decisions being made on a weekly basis.
