Absolutely scunnered this morning. I think a lot of us got sucked in by Tuesdays result and not factoring in how absolutely red rotten Ross County were. Made us look better than we are.

As soon as we came up against an organised, physical team, who were right up for it, we again were clueless and this formation just did not work. Shat the bed big time.

So many players out of form but still with the useless arse in goals. I’ve been banging this drum for months but he is honking. Craig Samson, Smith levels of shit. When was the last time he actually made a save. 5 out of the last 6 games we have conceded the first shot/cross on goal. Genuinely he has nothing else to do but pick the ball out the net. I don’t think we concede that first goal with Ox in the sticks as he is at least stronger and decent at a cross.

Another small point that has irked me is how well Vale has done.  Against Killie we were crying out for someone pacy and direct last 15 to get at their defence and SK left him on the bench and made no changes. Tiring out the squad. Then gives him a small cameo against County. What I’m getting at is why the f**k was he not given a chance against Killie when clearly the boy has something decent about him.

John fucking Obika. What is the point in that guy. He is utterly brutal. Can’t win a header so we bring him on and shell the ball to his head. Again clueless.

Without meaning to come across as condescending, does anyone actually know this? I don't think I've ever seen Oxborough play.

I'm all for giving Oxborough a chance due to Kelly being utter dug shite but, knowing our luck, he'd end up being the second coming of Aaron Chapman.

  2. Higdon is hands down the best striker we've had in my time supporting the club. Can remember a Friday night game up at Dundee United where he was unplayable. He also ragdolled Celtic a couple of times that season and culminated this by getting himself a night in the cells at the POTY awards.

Special mention also goes to Chris Porter. Not quite as prolific as some of those mentioned but I always thought he was a fantastic player.

Obileye apparently at Fir Park signing a pre-contract apparently. Good luck with him, he's hopeless. I've never saw a footballer with such a lack of a weak foot, he'd rather turn inside and use his right and risk losing it on the edge of the box than just play out his left.

Good in the air but lazy and very little concentration. We lost our first goal v County due to him standing still dreaming and lets Simon Murray run through uncontested.

A defender who can't defend? Sounds like something we'd be into.

Look I agree with anyone saying we should not break the bank for KVV. I do.  If our rivals are prepared to throw silly money at Groningen then so be it. But I genuinely find it baffling that they can blow us out of the water unless our bid or wages offer was low in the 1st instance.

We are in the market for a number 1 striker and a guy who scored in each of his last dozen or so games for us is apparently available.  Bair can cope until he is match fit. Lets face it has anyways our last two games. So can Jack Vale assuming he is not being recalled after 1 day 😂.

He may not turn out to be as good as he was.  But this will be a right kick in the haw maws for sure.

This is sort of where I'm as well.

KVV of the second half of last season would be a great signing for anyone in the league (Old Firm included) but we've seen what he offers (or doesn't offer more like) when he's half-fit and half-arsed.

Clubs like Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs and even Dundee United will beat us to players 9 times out of 10 but to be "blown out the water" by Killie and fucking St Mirren is a major concern.

Always said that Celtic was the wrong move for Turnbull from a development point of view but, at the same time, can just about understand why he went.

I wonder what he must think when he sees someone like Lewis Ferguson who, IMO, Turnbull was a better player than he was with us and Ferguson was at Aberdeen. As it is, Ferguson is in Serie A captaining a Bologna side who are challenging for Europe whereas Turnbull is staring down the barrel of a move to some mid table Championship jobbers.
