I don't disagree with the sentiment in terms of us getting 2 good years out of Spittal. However, I'm sure he's someone we'd much rather keep than not and it's not as though it's one of the city clubs who have come in for him. Are we really at a point where we can't even compete with St Mirren (and other similar sized clubs) in terms of wages?
Obviously this is all just P&B chat just now and I might just be yelling at the proverbial cloud but the point stands given that, if rumours are to be believed, we've already lost out on Main to Dundee and Scott to St Mirren.

Rumours going around that Spittal been offered a PCA by the Midden
I am shocked.
Does their scouting department extend beyond looking at anyone that's been half decent for us? It's beyond parody now.

Halliday starting today do we think centre mid or wing back?
Up front probably.

Oh...
Interesting.
I'd bet that by mid-February he'll be out injured for 6 months.

I reckon someone like Frank Lampard or Wayne Rooney deserves another chance at management. Maybe they could even entice Gerrard back from Saudi?

Sondre Solholm Johansen was a handsome b*****d.
If only his footballing ability matched his looks.

Surely fucking not .

Glad to see the back of Shaw. Appreciate he was signed out of necessity but he's every bit as bad as some of our worst strikers of recent times.
The 2-2 against St Johnstone where he could either shoot himself or square it Bair yet conspired to do neither sums him up. Useless.

Wait...what?
That's not Kevin van Veen?
In all seriousness though, he's played at a decent level most of his career so must have something about him. However, I like to think I have a good amount of useless football knowledge through playing FM, FIFA, etc. and I couldn't even tell you what position he plays or how he's going to fit into our team.

Courier saying you wanted Zak Rudden on loan as well as every club in the Championship except Dundee United. We've knocked you back though because we don't want him playing for a divisional rival. Dunno how true that is, but that's what the Courier is saying.
I'd put Rudden in the same bracket as Connor Shields. Does a job at Championship level but completely out his depth in the Premiership.
If that's the level we're looking at just relegate us now.

So long Toby...
No harm to him but I'd put McGinley in with Straker and Joe Chalmers as our worst left back of recent times. Seems a nice guy but he had no redeeming features as a footballer.

It's definitely not what I'd do but as we often say, self-belief and confidence are one of the many reasons he's a professional footballer. The fact Goss - with his CV - felt he could turn down guaranteed security to see what came up before landing in Greece sums it up really.
Elliot might be great but even if not, he will be - at the very least - confident that he's got the probable safety net of an A-League team making an offer should he return there with his tail between his legs.
Just had to Google Sean Goss to see where he ended up. For some reason I thought he'd went to India.

Not unhappy with the draw in terms of it's difficulty as it could obviously have been worse (no offence Morton). However, a bit fed up that we've drawn Morton yet again.

Doesn't matter who we play, this team will gift goals.
Going a goal up early doors at home against lower league opposition, we should be looking to kill the tie by half time at the latest. Not this shower though.

I see there's a suggestion that Biereth's away to Sturm Graz to cut about with Max Johnston.
Between signing Max Johnston then playing him in their reserves and now signing Mika, I'm really not fond of Sturm Graz.

Kind of get that. He obviously wasn’t liked by a fair few of our fans but it’s clear he knew where the net was. Our only two natural scorers gone.
However easier to replace Wilkinson than Biereth that’s for sure.
This is a large part of our current problem. We're more likely to get someone on a par with Wilkinson than Biereth.
Like others, I don't think Wilkinson was as bad as a lot of our fans made out. However, if he was still here I wouldn't be thinking that with Biereth away at least we still have Wilkinson.
Feels like we either push to boat out for KVV or accept we're finishing in the bottom 2.

Henderson off to Ajax
I assume he's sorted all the human rights issues in Saudi and is now going to sort the drug and prostitution problems in Amsterdam?

Biereth is 20 years old and has played less than 30 games of professional football in his career.
Can someone not have a word with Sheffield Wednesday and convince them that Oli Shaw (who has experience of playing in England) is the Motherwell striker they REALLY want.

Jake Hastie. LOL.
Probably shows that, from a financial point of view at least, he was right to move to Rangers. He might be shite but at least he's rich and shite.

I'd be happy enough with Halliday. Solid if unspectacular, knows the league and will do a job filling the gap left by Slattery. Let's face it, he's another body to keep Barry Maguire as far away from the first XI as possible.
I'd also be more than happy with Main. For all his limitations as a player he'd almost certainly offer more than Obika, Shaw and (possibly) Wilkinson have this season. His goal to make it 3-0 in the Scottish Cup semi final against Aberdeen is also one of my favourite moments supporting Motherwell.

Having now had a bit of time to reflect on the video, it still makes me turn inside out with cringe. However, with it approaching almost 2m views on Twitter alone it's certainly had the desired reach.
I'd obviously love it if it prompted some bored millionaire somewhere to chuck a few (hundred thousand) quid our way but I'm still dubious.
You don't ask, you don't get I suppose.

Can't add to any of the comments about the video other than to say fucking hell.
Honestly, my general apathy towards the club has never been greater.
