PJ Morrison, David Devine (is he still on loan?), Steve Hetherington, Morgyn Neil, Conor Sammon - not sure if there are any other ex-Well players
Given our propensity to let ex-players score against us, we'll need to score at least 6 to go through.

Arsenal nearly making a c**t of it there.
Ramsdale will get the blame but what's the point in an outfield player taking a goal kick then playing it back to the keeper inside the 6 yard box?

A point! An actual point!
Without meaning to put a downer on it, this sets us up perfectly to lose against Dundee next week.

Had to give Celtic another penalty after they missed the first.

Peter Drury has become insufferable since being promoted to Sky's lead commentator. Nearly every word sounds like it's read from a script and he seems to think his job is to create some sort of poetry to accompany a game. Awful.
I honestly can't listen to him. It's like he's trying to make every sentence a soundbite.

He always asks himself a question then answers it too. That tickles me no end.
Does he? Yes he does.

Another week off as far as I'm concerned. These games are pointless (literally).
Try and lose by no more than 3 and then move on.

Gute, ehrliche Jungs.

City and probably Chelsea will lawyer / bribe their way out of whatever comes their way.
As bad as they are, Everton will stay up comfortably. Any other season and this would likely see them gone already but the 3 promoted club's are so unbelievably shit that everyone else is basically getting a free hit this season.

And so the revisionism continues.
He was shite, and not a tear on here was shed when he went.
Nonsense. He's world class according to St Mirren fans.

That’s how I feel tbh.
I’m not one for sacking the manager at the moment however finding it harder and harder to defend him. That today was all on him, his tactics completely and utterly wrong and the fact he changed it at half time he will know. However leaving it until the 77 mins to bring on a left back is criminal.
There is no balance to the team. The midfield players are too similar, the strikers not good enough apart from Mika but seemingly he is the target man.
The defence however are an absolute shambles. So soft and since his return Butcher has been abysmal. No coincidence we are conceding more with him in the side. He looks slow, weak and like an old man.
Butcher's return reminds me of Peter Hartley a few years ago. Went from being the key man in defence, getting injured and then looking like a liability after coming back.
At least then we had Tom Aldred. None of our current defenders look capable of stepping up.

Can only echo what has been said about team selection today. Kettlewell must know he's on a shoogly peg so surely the first thing you do is pick a team with players in their best positions?
Nah, let's stick Spittal (an attacking midfielder) at left back despite Gent (an actual left back) being available and having actually made a worthy contribution in his last game.

This
teamclub man.So much wrong with us in almost every department. Really difficult to get behind this mob at the moment.

Ross County played for longer with 10 men against Celtic and only lost 3-0.
Not sure what point I'm making here other than GIRUY Hartson.
0 -
Hartson genuinely sounds on the verge of tears

Hartson trying his best here to try and justify Celtic getting consistently pumped in Europe is absolutely pathetic.
And now it's 5

I was all for binning Hammell and Alexander in similar circumstances but, for some of these players, they're now on a 3rd manager where they've seemingly just downed tools / form has gone off a cliff for no apparent reason.
My opinion is that the club is as poorly run as it has been in a long while. Sure we're not burning money like we have in the past but the flip side is we're getting no value for what little amount we are spending. Recruitment has been largely rotten since the Robinson days and, even then, it was fairly hit and miss. Of our 9 signings in the summer only Biereth looks like he can offer anything. Obika and Souare were both broken, Bair is an athlete not a footballer, Wilkinson is neither, Spencer has one foot, Gent looks raw at best, Shaw is here by accident and I'm not sure Davor actually exists.
I could go back over the past few windows (particularly summer) where we have an equally poor hit rate with signings and it leaves us in the exact position we are now in terms of horrendous winless runs and talk of binning managers.
Tl:dr - Our problems go far beyond the manager.

I hold out some hope that Davor is the second coming of Ali Gorrin. Will be nowhere the first half of the season but will become a regular in January and spend the next few months cementing folk.
Now we just need to find the next Gboly and Turnbull and we're sorted.

Probably. He is two footed after all.

After scoring, Miovski has come up with a shite finish and an ever shiter dive.

Defeat on Tuesday, a decision may have to be made
Nah I think Kettlewell has more than enough credit in the bank. In reality, this is his first bad run since he came in.
Recruitment needs looked at though. I get we're limited, probably more than ever, by finances but some of our signings (going back years) have been shocking. They're not all going to be Moults (first spell) or Kipres but too many have been so far from being good enough for this level that it makes you wonder what those responsible were thinking. Unfortunately it looks like we've focused poor recruitment on the attack this season. With 4 of our 5 forwards either injured, rotten or both (Mika excepted). Add to the fact that the only left back we brought in will likely never be seen again despite that position being a glaring hole in the team for f**k knows how long.
We seem to say it every season but we just need to get through to January then sort out the mistakes of the summer.

How is this possible? They have the greatest fans with the best atmosphere in Europe? Xavi and Iniesta once said so.
