Fully expect an absolute mental line on Friday, Bistondou to start and players to play out of position,
If Gold and Dow are available then I'd probably have them in,
If not I'd have
Gaston
Banks Little ToB hetherington
Mckenna Balde
Stewart Allan Linn
Hilson
If Dow is fit I'd have in for Allan and Gold for Hilson and try Mckenna up front, Hilson has done ok but has shown in last few games he isn't the answer, And yeh I know Mckennas best position isn't up from but he is better than the others we have,
No doubt the back 4 will be all over the shop though, Banks left back, Hetherington who has done well at left back on the wing and Bitsondou in the middle because he is big,
McKenna completely wasted that far back, he needs to be further forward

It actually looks like, the defeat against Cove has completely knocked the stuffing out of the team

There is no way you can look at the last 2 performances and think we can stay up
Looks like we might stay up by default

The only things we have going for us, are Morton still with something to play for and our points on the board

Scott Allan is an incredible player and one we are very lucky to have, His talent and ability speak for itself and I just think as mentioned above too many things have went against him this season that have been out of his control and I fully expect to see the best of him next season, Mind he signed a 2 year deal so next season will be the one to properly judge him. Get a brilliant pre season behind him and our priority has to be strengthening the forward line and I am sure it will all come together.
The foundation of a DC team has always been built around a solid defense and a hard working team that battles and gets stuck in for 90 minutes but still with enough quality and creative flair players to excite in the forward areas which sadly we haven’t had this season but I am fully confident that will have learned from this seasons mistakes and have that fully addressed for next season
Tbf, considering the money we have allegedly thrown at Allan, would have been better, shredding the money, then setting fire to it, at least you would have gotten a heat from it, wrong player for this season, if a mutual parting of the way, can be negotiated, good luck to him

I’ve a feeling all 3 teams are going to end up on 33 points and we’ll stay up on goal difference.
No matter how anyone spins it, this has been a dreadful season. My worry is that the management have learned nothing (still don’t know how to play against teams setup defensively) and we’ll get more of the same next season. It looks like a stronger league next season too so it’s unlikely there’ll be teams as bad as Accies, Cove or us. Also can’t imagine any team shitting the bed like Cove did in getting rid of McIntyre.
Big changes needed.
Had exactly the same thought today, about all three teams finishing on 33pts

I don’t think we’re touchy about the wind really as we know the score with it. Just a bit sick of hearing it used, normally as an excuse, whenever the opposition lose or draw. We would all agree that, at times, the wind at Gayfield can be absolutely brutal but it only normally has any affect on the game a handful of times a season, at most, and ruins a game even less frequently.
100% this, also how often the wave that soaked Bobby Linn, gets brought up, when in reality, the wind rarely blows in off the sea

I thought the second half started at 4.10 so 45 minutes should be 5.55 plus 30seconds each subbie , plus any stoppage time so I expected the whistle to go almost bang on 5pm , have to say I was totally shocked at the whistle, maybe the ref had a train to catch
Have to say, I thought it finished a bit sharp, maybe the ref thought, this pair are not going to score, so I’ll just blow

Who was the midfielder for Arbroath that got subbed roughly half way through the second half? I thought he put in a great performance breaking up play and driving forward.
Arbroath would be doing very well to keep hold of him for next season. In fact I would be happy if Dundee signed him.
He’s a signed player Joao Balde

Is that how you play every week? Fucking brutal. IMO.
Needs must am afraid, no many teams, play themselves out of trouble, survival is what it’s all about

Great display today. No weak link. If I have to have one complaint, would love to see us play with a wide man.
This system we now play appears to make us more solid, so it’s in until the season’s end

1 game nearer survival, would have absolutely taken that at 3pm. Another clean sheet and another good battling performance, mckenna unlucky with a couple of free kicks and we’re just lacking a hamilton/dowds/nouble up front. Big payday for the club too
Absolutely, few weeks ago, I thought we were done

Komofole with his pace should have chased every ball down last 20, looked kinda lost.
He runs along side the play, instead of getting into the box, it’s infuriating

There's been a lot of negativity on here, I've been plenty negative myself, but I'm so impressed at how our new fans have stuck with the team. I mind watching games against Stenny where they didn't even bother opening the terracing at all, so it was great to see a big turnout. And generally, all those new fans and youngsters who have started watching the club in the last couple of years have really impressed me. I expected the more casual element of our support to thin out once the results turned bad, but fair play to them, they are still there and still cheering the team!
Also loved the fact that we (myself included) cheered our lucky 1-0 win like we had won the Scottish cup.
To be fair, a couple more lucky one nils, might just keep us up

How about that Gaston? he should be called Pishton as that's what he did to Morton's play off hopes last night.
Good grief

For those interested, Hester not proven at court today. Newspaper article says the SFA can still ban him, though.
Think they probably will

Also thought ,Scott Martin was lucky to stay on the park.Scott Allan got sent off for something very similar earlier in the season. He took an Arbroath player out ,the ref played advantage,he knew he was getting booked, then wipes another Arbroath player out 5/10 second s later.
Thought the ref bottled that, should have been two yellows
