Thought the number 5 improved as the half went on, but they’re is no doubt he’s a bit ungainly

The left winger second half was involved in so much going forward, took his man on time after time and had some clever passes and also got back very well too considering he was a wing back with Scotty Stewart left centre half (shows just how hard it is to judge when he was playing there) behind him. Also looked rapid. Not think much of him?
I’ve heard that 4 of them should have been good before the game got played today so imagine 4 of them have played at a decent level or have shown up well through the week
2nd half LW, also had the benefit, that the 2nd half had a bit more energy about it

Mulled over the game, while cutting the grass, it’s when I do my best mulling, left winger first half, CM number 39 and didn’t mind the big no5, had a bit about him, the rest for me, will have to show much improvement

I'm no talent scout, but I am sure a few more talented players will be signing for Championship clubs before the start of the season - the window is wide open.
Hope you’re right, but me, am going to remain sceptical, I think we’ve went head first into the same mistakes, we made last summer

We shouldn’t need trialists, we are a championship club, we should be able to attract players, surely, although I agree we have had some fine loanees, we have also had some utter dogs, although I never actually said I didn’t want loanees, I don’t want loanees like the garbage we signed last summer

Would expect maybe 3-4 incoming new signings, along with perhaps 3 loan players (as usual, all depends on whose available and if they are the right fit for the squad - these things take time).
On other matters, wonder if Nicky Low will sign for Morton this season - I know one club he won't be signing for !
The talents all gone, it’s naive to think otherwise, if we are looking at trialists and loanees to fill the squad, then we have learned nothing from last season’s debacle

Wasn’t at the game, but reports not good on the trialists, how possibly can we have had about 15 of them and not a player among them,, obviously learned nothing from last season
