  1. First Advert I saw on that page, Ireland 2012 Strip. That is a well targeted ad!
  2. Great signing, i'm really pleased with this one. Lets hope he matches his form of this season. The only complaint would be the nickname, "Ginga Ninja", i'd prefer something like "Tank Thomson", some that represents what he is going to do to First Division defences with his attacking play up the wing.
  3. Sounds a bit fishy, unless your name is Zuckerberg, who has £500 Million spare at the moment to waste on a football club?
  4. In my mind I always remember him shooting from the half way line, a la Nayim. Then you watch the video and realise it was just outside the box, cracking strike though. Also of note from that video, A) Derek Johnstone, the worst tv presenter of all time and its no even close. What a balloon. B) The other scorer was Paul Browne. When we signed him Aston Villa wanted 500k for him before it was decided by a tribunial!
  5. I do like that the first advert I saw was for Tesco online shopping, oh the Irony!
  6. Another gem on the same thread "I have already done this , and along with no longer eating at McDonalds and not shopping at Tesco I hope they feel it. " I can imagine the bosses at McD's and Tesco being worried by this development.
  7. "Get a life and stop the constant attacks on a football club. These are the most important days of this clubs history and all you can do is shed negative light on the club? Don’t go down the road of trying to gain credibility and look competent by attacking Rangers like your pals in the scottish media have done, they have no credibility whatsoever. They are known as bitter no-marks who’s pathetic obsession with a football club have destroyed any chance of them ever being taken seriously again. Soon, so will you. You might be getting followed on twitter and plenty “hits” but are they from anyone of importance or bitter celtic fans?. You’ll delete this, because you’re allowed freedom to attack us but we’re denied the freedom to take you to task for what you are." On that note here is a reponse to one of of Alex Thomson's blogs. Surely a wind up? The whole of the Scottish Media have ganged up with the defacto position that Rangers are too big to fail and Scottish football would die without them. Which Scottish journalist has attacked Rangers?
  8. Aside from Alex Thomson i'm struggling to think of many others which have provided clear honest reporting.
  9. Surely the more we can f**k up the SPL the better, I want to see clubs going bust, international attendances slashed, Liewell and Regan sent packing to the Job Centre for their presiding over the victimisation of Rangers. I want to see mayhem and anarchy in all its various insidious forms. For our own self respect and just for the joy of fucking this shower of flea infested *****s arseholes. The more we f**k this corrupt joke of a institution the better. Bring it on. I'll never attend an away game or an international agme in my life, and neither will any of my family. I find it amusing when I read stuff like this. It is people filled with their own self importance, who by making such sweeping statements must be a representative for their entire familty. Yeah right!
  10. The SFA seem to have a "Close the stable door after the horse has bolted" attitude to Fit and Proper people.
  11. A well thought out article, even the forum comments attatched to it are fairly reasonable.
  12. Apologies if this has been posted before but once again Alex Thomson has posted another top piece of journalism. It seems it takes an English journalist to show all the Scottish ones what objective reporting is all about. http://blogs.channel4.com/alex-thomsons-view/big-bad-hoose/1461
  13. Ditto Greece except the part about a new president. Wonder what will be resolved first, Rangers or Greece's financial woes?
  14. On the way home from work tonight I heard an advert on the Radio for the new 2012/2013 Rangers strip. Other than the obvious comic value of launching a strip that might never be used the one thing that struck me was who is paying the bill the for the Radio Adverts? Surely no-one would give the club any credit facility and it got to be beyond the remit of the admininstrators to pays for something like this.
  15. Wow, i'm agreeing with VikingTon! Is there anyone, apart from Rangers fans, who are buying into what they are saying? I don't know how representative P+B is of the Scottish public but most folk on here can see right through all the crap. The proof of the pudding will be next season if Rangers are gone and the attendances in the SPL are not actually that much lower (or perhaps higher!) than this season.
  16. I'd agree with this. This McGurn is most likely going to stay as he is part time already and on the surface seems content at the Rovers.
  17. Its a sensible move by the board, the only problem is possibly another relegation battle next season. It will be interesting to see who we keep on a full time contract.
  18. I've no actual insight into this but I get the feeling he would love to see the Old Firm fail in a spectacular way.
  19. Neil Doncaster's view of Fair Play Maybe a wind up , maybe he just thought it sounded cool. Neil Doncaster's view on Financial Fairplay.
  20. I can see Wallace walking for nothing and Hearts getting the square root of f**k all from Rangers. Remember this when NewCo Rangers put a bid in for one of your players in a few years.
  21. Does anyone know roughly how much per season do the Non-Old Firm teams get out the of the TV deal?
  22. This is all getting too fucking depressing. Apart from the odd journalist the main stream media is getting right behind Rangers and the notion that they should be treated as a Special Case because you know, there Rangers. They seem to want us all to believe that if Rangers die so will Scottish Football. Well f**k you mainstream media. That is a slap in the face to every fan who follows a team that isn't Rangers or Celtic. Your following a club which owes its existence to the Old Firm! I refuse to believe that is true, if it were true what is the point of 50,000 Hibs and Hearts fans going to the Cup Final, why did 12,000 Pars and Rovers fans go to a game at the tail end of last season? It isn't and wasn't anything directly to do with Rangers. There is life in Scottish Football beyond the Old Firm and we would survive without Rangers. Would it be different, yes, but there are too many people who care about football in this country just to let it die. If Rangers are due any punishment it should be fair and consistent and without fear of reprisals. If the authorites are just going to shit all over their own rules just to keep Rangers in the SPL then the SPL isn't worth shit itself. The worst part is going to be when the NewCo Rangers or whatever they are going to be called sail back into the SPL, too many people are going to buy the bullshit. Tell a big enough a lie and enough people will believe it. It going to be business as normal. Sure there will be people of forums such as this who say they will boycott matches but I doubt it will make a tangible difference. In a few years time Chick Young will pretend to support St. Mirren. Ally McCoist will revert back to the cheeky chappy who used to be on Question of Sport and somewhere maybe somewhere a few tears will be shed for the loss of credibilty that used to be Scottish Football.
  23. Apologies if this has been mentioned before but once the HRMC has finished with Rangers, or whatever is left of them, will they be going after the beneficiaries i.e. Players, Mangers etc who benefitted from the EBTs?
