I am a staunch unionist Brexiteer and the treatment Brexit received from the BBC was outrageous.

This the same BBC that had Farage on QT about 150 times🤔

The Salmond/Robinson exchange sticks out for me.

I listened to it live on the radio when I was in the car - at the time I was intending to vote No and remember thinking it was a doozy of a question but I was really impressed with Salmond's answer, he broke the question down, ripped it to shreds really.

Even as a Yoon I was gobsmacked by how it was reported on the news, it fucking angered me tbh.

I put a weekend with some good friends down as the clincher for me with regards to Scotland running itself but it was sh't like that that had me on my way.

Just had a search through my posts from 2014 and found that the Yoon me referred to P&B as 'Aye & Bovril'

Both pleased and annoyed with myself 7 years on lol.

It was their coverage of the referendum that made up my mind, too.

Blowing certain stories up, and burying others.

He's just a daftie best ignored tbh.

Fair dos but he did genuinely and regularly rattle Unionists with valid, fully referenced, points - shame he's lumbered into a position where he's quoted and retweeted by them.

    Daftie indeed.

  5. Can anyone give me an idiot's guide to what Rev Stu/Wings is these days?

I followed the old Wings account before it was punted but didn't bother following any new incarnations (if any)

He'd already started ranting about trans folk - what's his gripe with them?

    And I believe he's still pro-Indy but anti-SNP - what's his gripe with them?

Turns out that account has blocked me despite no interaction between us ever.

    Is he a Unionist?

Ok, right, should've read to the end of the thread before posting - turns out he's blocked a few.

I followed Wings old account before it was jettisoned, even interacted 'positively' with him a few times, can't say I've had anything to do with him since.

It's uber annoying to find you've been unceremoniously blocked by folk you didn't even know existed - especially if you go on to find you've similar bios.

James Melville @-ing the official Scottish Government account and asking for a DM has to be the most on brand thing ever for him. Genuinely one of the worst accounts on Twitter.

    Is he a Unionist?

  8. Harden to the Nets conformed - as a follower of the Rockets I thought I'd be devastated but it's been clear he couldn't stay for a while now - would've been easier to take if Westbrook had stayed though.

Durant, Irvine & Harden combined :o

Thanks, I checked and I've nothing filtered.
I just checked the guys profile and our exchange is listed as a Promoted Tweet - has this fella paid in an attempt to start a dog pile?

Set the masses of P&B on the b*****d

I 'won' ... or at least he made an arse of a comeback and I hit him with a '50 Cent' coup de grace.

I'm sure p&b would've helped seeing as he was a moonhowling Yoon but my twitter profile isn't anonymous and I don't want any of you f'ckers knowing who I am lol

Is it perhaps when there is a thread with a few people and they've replied to the OP and removed your @?

Not on this latest occasion but that's something I hadn't considered so I'll keep an eye out for it in the future.

  11. Can anyone suggest why I don't always get a notification when someone replies to one of my tweets?

It only seems to be when someone's disagreeing with me which has me wondering if there's some sort of workaround that people use to make it appear as if they've won the argument!

Nope.  From that article that I linked to earlier

"Last January, it was mistakenly announced that B-movie legend and 1993 Penthouse Pet of the Year Julie Strain had passed away. The announcement was quickly retracted - but in a sad twist of fate, friends and family are confirming that Strain has passed away almost one year to the day after that erroneous report. She was 58 years old."

I wasn't quoting you. I was responding to tamthebam's suggestion that she wasn't dead.
