Surely the point is all licenced clubs should be meeting the same criteria.  There is no consistency of approach being applied - existing licences should be required to meet the same standards being applied to new applicants.

In a perfect world yes, but seeing as the junior influx over the last 12 months has completely thrown the pyramid system into overhaul mode, it's clear that at the moment these are extreme circumstances, it seems at the moment there's lots of fresh feet stamping going on....

Considering teams have been, and are still in the Lowland league without lights, I really think commonsense should prevail here and give Bonnyrigg time to get the work done. But can SFA and commonsense go together?  As the floodlight rule came in late think this should have been this is what is happening from x date giving clubs the opportunity to get work carried before applying. So if it is true that the application will be reconsidered I hope it is favourable, but the way it has all been handled it has been totally unfair on both Bonnyrigg and Whitehill as neither knows what is happening, how can they plan for next season until they know the outcome.

With regards to the teams without lights in the LL, at what point will they be required to have them in order to renew their licence?

Whitehill have been shit on twice here, first off all the Selkirk debacle  and the powers to be sticking by absolute laws by using the bottom team term rather than team 16 to be relegated and now people are using the "morally correct rule" to suit the situation, for what it's worth the on field performances last year there's no question in my eyes they deserve nothing more than relegation and I have stated that constantly, but the hypocrisy around this whole debarcle is staggering

Does anyone actually think moving  a Dalkeith Team that struggled in their conference finishing 8th !! to a League above and hoping it will work is not just a Very unfunny Joke on the Welfare !

So you know what league Whitehill are in next year, pass on details to all please

Nothing official so far. Depending on who's interpretation of the rules you believe.

The Lowland League is either now at 16 teams with Whitehill saved from relegation as there's no licensed Tier 6 champion and Selkirk's vacancy.

    Or

The Lowland League is at 15 teams, Whitehill have been relegated and there's a vacancy to be filled.

If there's no team eligible for promotion then surely there is no relegation, or you end up with a scenario if relegated on the pitch and replace by off the pitch means....

Looks that way. The only course of action that Bonnyrigg has left i'm guessing has to be something legal. Doubt that's something that will cleared up in a week or two's time. Both the LL and EoS will be wanting to get things sorted in preparation for the new season. If anything it could force the LL to go to 17 clubs as I doubt anyone will force WW to be relegated.

Then do Whitehill do something legal after bonnyrigg legal action

Bit harsh the lad is only 20 year old.

His shot-stopping is unbelivable, yes his reading of the game and commanding of a box can be improved but he's only 20 year old and that will all become better with experience, getting older and growing in confidence (which probably isn't at it's highest right now when you're at a team bottom of the league).

You'll struggle to find someone who gives more commitment and is willing to learn more than Ross when he was the 20s goalie would train Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday play on the friday for the 20s and sit on the bench for the first team on a Saturday.

He'll go onto bigger and better things than Whitehill and if thats at Kelty then the boy dereves it and I'm sure will reap the rewards and become a better goalkepper there.

The Whitehill keeper who finished the season wasn't 20
