  1. They demanded StJ price the last round at £30 a skull. Fucking cheek if they don’t apply similar pricing at home. Never really understand how the home and away proportions are worked out (away team gets 40% of net income?) and had assumed TV money was around 75k. f**k it, still better than losing away to Livvy for f**k all.
  2. We’re not going to win it and we’re potentially financially gubbed. Good draw - if on TV and decent crowd probably clear around £400k?
  3. From those pictures it looks like you could in the future potentially demolish the wee seated bit for directors without impacting the main building, and build a full length stand with the rear of the stand still at the right elevation to access the hospitality bit - even if it has to step up a bit like at Easter Road. Which, if possible, wouldn’t be terrible and might not involve too much wasted money.
  4. Whack a 500-600 terrace behind each goal - one home, one away, - and you’ve got a decent stadium that’s the right size for all but the Premier. And if you need to improve capacity you rebuild the west side in future. Not ideal that they’ve made a total mess of it, but you hardly want to create another stadium that’s less than half full most weekends.
  5. Devils advocate, but for a club with an average attendance of ~800 how big a stadium do you really need? You shouldn’t be building for away fans - if it can hold 2k and you have 1500 home and max 500 away then, sure, you’ll leave some money on the table but at least all your home games will feel like home games. And unless you become an established Premier team then your stadium will also remain a decent size for whichever league you’re in. im not disagreeing that it’s been a shambles - it’s a huge missed opportunity, especially the ludicrous royal box - but I expect if you have 2k round the other three sides then that’s probably enough for the needs of QP and home fans?
  6. The local SNP councillors made a big thing about bringing Rob Roy home at the last elections - would be totally cynical (although not entirely surprising) if they were to go back on that commitment now that there are no votes to be won.
  7. Just say the stadium plans yesterday - look pretty good. What’s the plan with the other three sides, keep as is or any plans to freshen up / replace? I assume moving hospitality would allow you to do something with the old main stand, whereas the two end terraces are probably fine as is?
  8. I forgot how funny that last paragraph was. They should have let Ntambwe keep on running.
  9. Will feel good having you back in Glasgow (albeit you’ve been away for most of my life…) and potential to get the setup right for the typical crowd size. Hope it works out. Any idea when you’re planning to be in, and how much work would be required for day one?
  10. Re: stadium, and assume this has been considered previously, but is there no chance of a shared facility with EK Thistle at the show park? Would probably be the best potential location, and would benefit both clubs if they were able to cooperate over it (sort of in the Clydebank / Yoker spirit)
  11. Appreciate recently thread has focussed on league form, but are you guys any closer to getting a new stadium sorted out?
  12. So racisms ok then? What about holocaust denial? Free speech is totally a grey area. There’s a line somewhere. It’s not defined - but all the current nonsense about woke / gammons etc is enabled by different views on where the line should be. Shit chat if we sung about the Queen, just as it would be shit chat to chat shit about anyone else who recently died, short of maybe Putin.
  13. Yeah, either Jacqui Low is a dick or Colin Weir was a dick. Of course, they’re not mutually exclusive.
  14. It’s ignorants like you making comments like this that meant we had to stop singing it. Anyway, it doesn’t rhyme with King.
  15. So, who’s organising the protests? Tonight would feel like a good opportunity for something with TV cameras in attendance.
  16. The thing is, Low won’t care about a negative news cycle. She knows it will blow over eventually (even if most fans continue to think she’s a twat) and all she really cares about is keeping control.
  17. Don’t know who I’m more angry with - Low, Shand, and the arseholes who’re doing this, or the cuckolds on the Jags Trust who are happy to watch them have their fun with our club as long as they’re allowed to be in the room.
  18. I’m looking forward to the impending mutually supportive statements from PTFC and 3BC.
  19. Ironically the guys at TJF seem to be doing a pretty good and professional job. I know times are tough but I’d encourage anyone who can to join and contribute - and for TJF to hold back on any further financial contribution to the club until this is resolved. I hope I’m wrong, but feels like sooner than later we’ll need STJ2.
  20. This has turned into an eye rape of a thread. Still, 3-2 away to league favourites - despite team still gelling, missing most centre half’s, and Tiff only fit to make a second half cameo. Pleasing.
  21. Ignoring the amateur hour ticketing for a moment, I’m actually impressed at how bullish the Dundee fans are acting despite having just come off a season of being rag-dolled every week in the Premiership.
  22. SNP local authority made a big thing about bringing KRR home at the last election. Interesting if they’ve now gone back on their word.
  23. Dundee fans - who do you rate higher, Mullin or Rudden? Rudden was a great foil for Graham last season and I get the impression that Mullin is (at least currently) the better player - so should do well for us.
  24. Derek and Gerry in the Premier I’m sure. He looked promising then. Sad end to be sure, but sadly all self inflicted.
