I don't see how that will work. The agreement with the SPL and SFL is the bottom team in the SPL is relegated at the end of the season, ie they resign from the SPL and join the SFL at Division One. That has happened: Dunfermline finished bottom and were relegated as per the the rules. How can Rangers now be "relegated"? If the SPL suddenly decides it can "relegate" anyone they please and at any time and force the SFL to accept their membership things would just be messy. I don't think Rangers can or will join Division One, if the football authorities thought the fans were mad now just wait til they try it.

The SFA\SFL\SPL just seem hellbent on alienating fans of every 41 member clubs just to help out the one member club. Are the supporters of these 41 clubs so insignificant to the sport that they can afford to lose most of them in one fell swoop? If this level of gerrymandering continues the only stadium which will have any fans in it on a Saturday afternoon will be Ibrox. Ironic considering they're the team which has been liquidated.

Right, but that's not what I'm saying. I'm not saying another broadcaster could match it, but what I am saying is the SPL won't suddenly find it can't attract any broadcast partners just because Rangers imploded. Even a vastly reduced deal is more likely than no deal, but that's not factored in with the doom and gloom worst case scenarios.

£900k is worst case though, really. Do you really honestly believe Sky and ESPN will both go "Thanks but no thanks" or do you think there would be a renegotiated deal instead? If both Sky and ESPN both just walked and lost interest entirely, do you think that the BBC, STV or maybe Premier Sports wouldn't be interested in a cut price deal? I can't believe this far down the line we're still persisting with the "Yeah, there will be a TV blackout of Scottish football without Rangers" myth. Nobody wants to cover Celtic matches? The Edinburgh derby? Really? Think back to the BBC years. The world didn't end back then.

Um naw. 'Taker has his incredible streak. Aberdeen don't have that. Hearts would be Dolph Ziggler. Massive ego. Hibs would be Zack Ryder - gets a pop from the crowd. Wins nothing. Neil Doncaster is John Lauranitis Chick Young would be Booker T - distinctive voice, no idea what he's talking about though. Jim Traynor is Michael Cole, kissing ass for the heels (in this case The Rangers)

He's either just another crook who's at it (bad for Rangers fans) or he actually has no idea what he's talking about (bad for Rangers fans). An employee is under no obligation to TUPE into a newco, any employee wishing not to TUPE will just be allowed to leave as if his contract had expired. No sanction for the employee. I'd love it if NewCo Rangers immediately found themselves in hot water by holding players hostage. New Rangers, Old Cheating.

I'm sure Green isn't allowed to say that. Employees can reject TUPE if they wish. From wiki article on TUPE: "where an employee objects to the change in the identity of the employer, then r.4(7) states he will not become one. He is to be treated as if his contract terminated when the transfer takes place, but that he is not dismissed (unless of course the employer actually does dismiss him), This issue came up in Wilson v St Helens Borough Council [1999] 2 AC 52;"
