The Judas Burns stuff IMO was purely down the hurt the fans felt as it was the end of an era. Probably the best era off the park in our history. He understood that. I spoke to him years later and he had nothing but affection for the club. Standing up speaking against McCann in court showed you that. The fans loved him and he loved us. Easter Road 1994 was probably my fondest moment ever as a Killie fan. Complete and utter togetherness.

Excuse my ignorance but is that the away end? And if so, why is was the Gallowgate there when it's now at the opposite end of Celtic Park towards town? Not many pubs near away end. Real McCoy, Springfield Tavern (might be shut) and Turnstiles the only 3 i can think of. Must be a pain being a Celtic fan and not being able to leave the boozer at 2.55pm. Severe lack of boozers!

No but he's by far the biggest factor in the drop in our crowds. It wouldn't go up overnight but a club with the harmony it once had would certainly stop the tide and help us get fans back.

Think 10k was a once in generation season or two but we are certainly capable of getting 5,000-6,000 home fans every week. I've lost count of the number of mates who've stopped going due to the chairman. Some of whom sponsored the club upwards of five figures each season.

1993-94

If and when it happens there will be a hell of a lot of Killie fans who've seen us win all 3 domestic competitions. More than you lot will ever do! You might have enjoyed putting out the cup holders, try imagine actually winning it!

We beat Rangers home and away that season and were utterly robbed by a dodgy linesman in the Scottish Cup Semi Final replay. Doubt anyone had a better record against them that season.

Absolutely spot on and as somebody who grew up with us in the late 80s/90s and our big, loyal support it'a absolutely heartbreaking to sit at RP now and see the shambles of a club we now are. We'll be back, of that i have no doubt. Just need rid of that parasite first.
