Interesting that a team that voted to join the pyramid (Even though it is tougher in the North due to HFL requirement for floodlights) are jacking it in at the end of the season.
Newburgh Thistle in the North SL

Sorry was looking at McBookies betting. Only 5 matches listed in west Region.
They are obviously not taking bets on "dodgy cups.
I will repost the same comment in September

All this bad weather and the West Region is still departing for Blackpool and Butlins this weekend.
What a backward lot ffs

In my straw poll of 2 clubs who I know voted against the pyramid. Both would now reconsider with the knowledge they now have. The rats will surely abandon ship.
No sources b4 asked.

As it stands - but things are clearly changing, so hopefully some piogress for Talbot now.
Not sure where exactly Lok fall down at present but obviously our pish toilet facilities are a starting point!
Are toilet facilities not meant to be pish ?
Oh I see you need shyte toilet facilities as well

Clydebank should now be the team to have the balls to put up a motion at the egm of no confidence in TJ.
They clearly have little to lose by doing so and it should actually get shot of him.0 -
He really just won't surrender will he ?
If as his statement says the club's now hold the decision (here's me thinking they always did) , someone have the balls to set up a motion of no confidence
Kelty why did you never try that route ?

Both those midweek games are at home though. Sure they can get the local dog to piss on the park the night before to get it called off if required.

Yes amidst the junior chaos this is clearly the time for any amateur club with aspirations and facilities to apply. Would hardly be a surprise if Am Soccer applied as an example.

Either sooner or prior to the AGM.
Is that not the same thing ?
That could be in June.
Ffs jobbystone needs to move a tad quicker surely.0 -
Is my memory leaving me but anytime I went to Tayport we turned left before Wormit and we were still in the County of Fife..which is South of the river Tay or as I say ..realy confused.?
Your directions are pish and yes tayport is in fife.
Having lived in both wormit and tayport I also have a Dundee district postcode [emoji8]1 -
Joking aside I assume Tayport is the closest ground to the "boundary".
Forgetting rocket science Tayport have always been classed as a North of Tay team in the old set up and the current GA Cup as opposed to the Fife & Lothians.

Just now, Ginaro said:
Their pitch is at 56.4429, south of the 56.4513 dividing line.
How far south is that in Metres ?
We have coastal erosion

It goes west and east - here's a map to help you: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1k4xWEiA6DvPhdnfOqT835ybt52xQ4Grr&ll
That line goes right through the Caniepart in Tayport
So are they north or south of it ?
A thinner felt tip is required

Surely a man of your values can easily find out.
Well the line might be down the pedestrian walkway (For those not in the know it is in the "centre" of the bridge) for all that email says
Also what if it is actually the Tay Rail Bridge ?

You can always ask the Lowland League yourself at: http://slfl.co.uk/contact-us/
but you'll probably get this response
Okay if we assume that is a starting point he does not say where the line then goes

There was a post on one of the multiple pyramid threads that the North South divide starts half way across the Tay Bridge....
Aye and Christopher Columbus thought the world was flat.
No definitive answer that I am aware of regarding the conflicting opinions of the co-ordinates.

Yes a sensible solution is just having 2 leagues randomly drawn for next season.
It also emphasizes how important it will be to apply to join immediately.
Waiting only 1 more season could have you as low as an EOS league 3 if numbers keep migrating.
I do wish someone would 100% clarify what happens if Carnoustie Panmure and Arbroath Victoria etc apply to join the EOS

No floodlights and the Junior Cup mean that there is zero chance of a current top Junior league finishing before the 2nd week in May!
With an earlier start in July and a printed fixture list of course it could.0 -
Izzy you really are wrong about the north. Any team can apply to join the highland league from its area. Same as the eos league. Banks of dee are just not interested before you try them as an argument.

Sad news John McGlashan passed away

Heard today that the info on team applying to join eosl league is correct. Heard Ormiston and Kelty were the 2 teams to back their application.
I would be surprised if kelty were allowed to vote/back anything etc in their 1st year. Is anyone going to actually 100% name the supposed applicant ?0 -
I think they may have changed it - it was the Tay at one point but looking at that latitude it does seem to be further north?
That in itself is really interesting.
Nothing to stop lochee Utd, carnoustie, broughty etc actually getting on the pyramid if true.

Anyone know the actual geographical constitution of the eosfl ? I am not sure this river tay line is in writing
What is to stop broughty athletic or even say banks of Dee applying to join the eosfl ? Both teams are certainly in the east of Scotland.

From Fitba North usually reliable
This isn't a merger. Newburgh are folding. The management team and some committee members are moving to Buchanhaven Hearts with the hope that some players will follow.
