I'll be part of said Buckie contingent. My mother's home town so they are the Highland league team I have a soft spot for. Up ih jags.

ETA - Are there any decent pubs in Tayport or is it better just having a beer in Dundee and getting the bus across for the game kicking off.

The Bell Rock has a superb Indian Restaurant upstairs.

Cobbies also has brilliant food at the back in Kitch Inn (You would have to book).

Finally quality breakfast in the Larick Centre which is next door to the Caniepart.

TBH we are really lucky in Tayport regarding food. No need to go anywhere near Dundee or St Andrews these days

    NB The football is shite.

  2. A player for Panama's national football team has been shot dead in the city of Colón.

Gunmen opened fire on a group of people, among them 26-year-old Gilberto Hernández, who had gathered in a building in the city.

Hernández died and seven others were injured in the attack.

Waiting on Opta Stats reporting on the number of shots on target being more than for Raingurs yesterday.

  3. I can't rightly say I have ever used mine for

    • a driving theory test for a fellow member of staff
    • china crockery for a meeting room
    • nail polish
    • yoga class
    • £1.59 leaving card
    • £27 "homedisco" from eBay
    • £272 on "wellington boots for inspections"
    • ping pong balls, chocolate mice, play dough or paper planes.

Saying that i do not work in the Public sector where this may be the norm ?

What interesting purchases do you make on your company credit card ?

Another 3 new years players for us: Dom Blair, Lee Roeleveld (both Coupar Angus) and Stephen Tront (Tayport).

Squad looking good now. Also more squad depth, which we lacked the last 2 seasons and came back to bite us when the inevitable injuries hit.

Tront not been at Tayport for years. Likely last club Coupar Angus

  5. Be careful to put your readings in today as the variable rates are cut significantly.

No one of course would advise entering your readings low by mistake. if your eyes are terrible, or you are numerate dyslexic.

You would not want to be paying more units at a lower price to these blood sucking companies.

  6. Scott from Accident Assist, handily based today in a call centre in Strathaven according to his phone number, was just wanting to help me for the 27th time this year, with my accident in the last 2 years.

I was quite happy to proceed on the basis I was drunk, had mown down 2 Vicars, a teacher & 3 cats while driving my ambulance.

Currently just released from the Pokey after being found not guilty due to Polis corruption.

    Plenty Compo in the offing.

For some reason at this point there must have been a problem with his phone.

I wonder if anyone on P&B will actually admit to having an absolute worthless career involving cold calling and carefully scripted lies ?

Or a grim job like working for a debt collection agency.

  7. Swiss cyclist Gino Mader has died at the age of 26 after crashing on stage five of the Tour de Suisse.

The Team Bahrain Victorious rider was involved in a high-speed crash with American Magnus Sheffield, 21, on Thursday on the descent of the Albula Pass and fell into a ravine.

Think the EoS have set quite a high bar on ground criteria, which maybe makes it easier for them to say no. They did that with a club in Perth called Letham a couple of seasons back who were quickly accepted by the Midlands League instead. Also helps that they have multiple vacancies to fill until the lowest division enters awkward numbers for their fixture secretary to deal with sort of territory and that they don't have an extreme geographical outlier like Campbeltown Pupils on board who can't easily do lots of midweek games if there is a fixture backlog.

Letham's facilities albeit Astro are far better than some other EOS teams. Viewing, catering, toilets etc all decent. I just think they did not fancy admitting them at the time.
