  1. That day at Falkirk 3-2 Was special. Knew we would stay up after that. Goals from Geordie Rowe, header from Andy Cargill and one from John Macaulay if I remember right. Brilliant.
  2. Seem to remember posts like this about David Gold last pre season. How did that turn out again?
  3. That's because that arsehole Doncaster doesn't care about lower league teams.
  4. Why would you want to move Hammy and disrupt the best centre defence of last season's league. Better to get a new left back.
  5. This was the squad that won our last title. Can't recall what the numbers mean. May be to do with appearances goals sub etc. Darren Hill 35 Kevin McMullan 30 1 Kieran McAnespie 27 2 Ross Chisholm 20 1 2 Stuart Malcolm 24 2 Alan McManus 11 Josh Falkingham 33 2 9 Adam Strachan 12 4 3 Steven Dorris 25 5 16 Gavin Swankie 35 1 23 Paul Sheerin 30 5 5 Darryl Burns 1 4 Lee Sibanda 5 6 David McGowan 8 24 5 Craig Wedderburn 12 4 2 Jordan Sheerin 2 12 Keith Gibson 26 1 8 Alan Rattray 9 1 Darran Thomson 5 1 David DiMilta 7 11 Danny Griffin 14 4 Jay Shields 2 2 Michael McIlravey 1 Marc McCulloch 8 1 Jim Hamilton 4 3 Ian Nimmo 2 Robbie Ross 1 4 Mark Durnan 9 1 Paddy Dean
  6. Steven Doris AFC legend. 2 championship title wins with us. ????????
  7. Why can't some posters just be happy we are where we are.
  8. Bit like Simon Murray when he came and look how that turned out.
  9. We're should defo get him on the bench on Saturday. He deserves at least a chance to make a difference.
  10. We're have the same problem still as we had at the start of the season. Don't score enough goals when on top. Annan game showed this clearly. Oh for a 20 goal striker.
  11. It's not the ideal solution but players can be brought in on emergency loans to play if Little or Hammy were unable to play. Better to have the cover in the club though. Completely agree though that DC should be trying to bring the cover in.
  12. It's not about what an individual did while with us it's that not many centre defenders would be keen to join us while Hammy and Little are playing so well. But a player nearing the end of his career might be prepared to sit on the bench and only play occasionally.
  13. When Sheerin was boss we brought in an older near retired centre half in Alan McManus who did a sterling job on the run in to the title win. Someone in a similar position might suit. Can't think of anyone offhand but DC will probably know of a few in this situation.
  14. No problem. The stuff on my site contains a lot of stuff personal to me and some relatives and former players and fans. If it is of any benefit to any lichties feel free to copy and/or use.
  15. He will more than likely start at the Coo whereas anyone joining us will see Hammy and Little more or less certain starters and need to be prepared to sit on the bench until his chance comes along. Can't imagine many players would want to join under these circumstances. Tricky one for DC but with his contacts who knows.
  16. 2defeats in the league is a vast improvement from last season. If we could have turned some of those draws into wins we would be at least level with Farfir. Our 1 fault imo which was apparent yesterday is our inability to punish teams when on top. We could have been comfortably a couple of goals up early on but for our profligacy in front of goal. If our strikers can improve on their finishing we could be there at the finish.
  17. "Love them aw tae bits" was his phrase as ai recall.
  18. 1 Far stand? 2 That's football at our level. 3 Fud
  19. Could have done with him from the start of the season but better late than never. Welcome to the lichties Rab.
  20. See this thread has degenerated into the usual mud slinging at each other by rival fans. There is another in the Fans Views thread on a similar topic. Worth a look.
  21. Heard he is playing for a non league side back near his home.
