The Sun has posted an article claiming that WWE is plotting to swoop the multi-time World Champion from TNA. They say with WrestleMania taking place in WCW's former home of Atlanta this year, Vince McMahon wants Sting to be a part of the show and inducted into the Hall of Fame. Though still listed on the TNA Wrestling website, Sting is presently a free agent after his contract with the organization expired late last year.

Earlier this week, wrestling fan Ronald Basham sued WWE, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Paul "Triple H" Levque, claiming he was injured while in the audience at WWE's Judgement Day pay-per-view back in 2000. During the main event of that show, The Rock battled Triple H in a street fight, with the two wrestlers brawling into the crowd. Basham alleges that he was injured during the brawl and says WWE failed properly provide adequate security for its customers. Both Johnson and Levesque have been accused of “reckless, willful and wanton conduct.” He claims to have suffered lingering injuries over the past decade as a result of the incident and recently had knee surgery, for which he's seeking compensation. According to TMZ.com, Basham's leg couldn't have been too badly hurt by The Rock and Triple H, because he played high school football and has participated in stock car racing for years. Up until his lawsuit was filed, his Facebook page featured various photos of him raacing cars, including pictures of him crashing into a wall. Basham's lawyer tells TMZ.com, "He has a long medical history with knee problems and as far as I know his knee was never injured [from racing cars]." Considering his high school football career and his habit of crashing race cars into walls, it seems he will have a difficult time proving WWE, The Rock and Triple H are the ones responsible for his recent knee surgery. Made me laugh. What a retard. Why wait 11 years?

Good night. I was sitting watching the U21 final and they showed the graphic with odds on 9 darters so I fancied a wee nibble. £2 @12/1 on Lewis to hit a 9 darter, £2 @ 10/1 on Anderson to hit one and £2 @ 5/1 on either man to hit one....so I was already £34 up after the first set. I then went and put £10 on Anderson to win at 1-0, which obviously didn't go so well. Glad Anderson will now be in the Premier League, gives us somebody to properly support now. Had to laugh at Andersons wee dig at the crowd in his interview, when the guy said he's guaranteed a PL place he said something along the lines of "Aye wait till we get these guys infront of a Scottish crowd against me and they'll see what it's all about"

From the games I've watched there's a few good players and an awful lot of dross. The atmosphere is dreadful. It's a bad day when you notice the noise of the dart hitting the board more than you do the crowd. As for the players. When they are good they're ok, when they're bad they're fucking rotten. The crowd were cheering a 100 as though it was a max during one game I watched. Seems like it's been filmed the 80's, half expected to see them swigging pints on stage. Just bores me in general. I think I'll give it a miss till near the end of the championships.

Rumour is they are hoping for Barrett vs Taker, other than that it has to be Cena/Punk at this point. On a side note, me nad my mate were thinking....I hope Jericho returns at the Rumble.
