Cavendish was showing some decent form a few months ago at the Tour of Turkey, but that was against a pretty weak field of sprinters. Never saw this coming

I’d be surprised to Roglic starts tomorrow from the sounds of his injuries. If he withdraws surely Van Aert will be given the nod to go stage hunting.
If ever Alaphilippe had a real opportunity to have a crack it’s this year but it’s really hard to see past Pogacar already.
Carapaz did look in decent form at Tour de Suisse a few weeks back so it’ll be interesting to see how he goes.
Enric Mas looks handily placed too.

Looking at St Mirrens fans comments about Doyle-Hayes, just weeks after the outrage at St Johnstone fans making the exact same comments about Tanser, is some laugh.
I think it's been widely agreed JDH is a good player and would improve United if that's where he goes.
He's strung us along for well over six months and this stage I don't think many particularly care where he goes. He clearly doesn't want to be with us so move on and let him go where he likes, not really that arsed anymore.

Works out better that he doesn't sign for a direct 'rival' up here, as he would definitely have improved United's midfield.
Looks as if he used them to squeeze a bit extra out the English club.At this point, I couldn't care less if he went to United. I'd hardly be shitting it facing him next season.

At this point, I don't really give a f**k where JDH goes. As long as he's nowhere near us I'm not really arsed who he ends up at.

Not really bothered about Connolly leaving. I'd have been more pissed off if it was to another Scottish side. He only started about every third game anyway. He can run very, very fast and that's about it. He was good when he was unknown and eased past defenders. Once they all had a look at him and knew what he was about he was less effective.
JDH if he goes to United would be a decent signing, but to be honest, not overly fussed if he leaves at this point. He has been dicking us about for more than six months, it's clear he has no intention of staying. Pull the deal off the table and let him go. He's hardly irreplaceable.

Some of the "not actually bothered" posts from the Saintees have been fucking tremendous. Pages and pages of people definitely not bothered at all.
The cherry on top would be if we somehow bagged Middleton on loan. He’d be absolutely pish all of a sudden.

I recall us being told this time last year that Marcus Fraser was an absolute dud as well. He went on to be a standout last season.
Based on that, I’m not really arsed about Saintees fan’s views on Tanser TBH.

This is getting ridiculous. £14k a week for Tanser? Outrageous.

I'm just terrified we repeat the Summer of 2014. Would it be a massive shock if we don't add anyone to improve the first team, end up losing McCann in the final weeks of August, and spend the final week scrambling about for a CM on loan because Gilmours nowhere near it?
Plenty of time to go, and the better players probably become available later on, but Kiltie is exactly the profile we want (Wotherspoon deputy, under 25, experienced at this level), and we've lost out with him to a team who consistently finish below us. There's nobody else available who matches that profile that I can think of.
What a state to get yourself into over losing out on Greg Kiltie.

Big Money Jim gets what he wants.

£12k a week for Kiltie is too steep IMHO.

If he’s a similar type of player to Erwin but can actually move around then he’s already an upgrade on that dud.

Imagine Killie had anyone other than Doyle or Rodgers in goal. You’d have to think they’d have just about avoided the play-off.
Sore one.

I must have been watching a different team from some others. Erwin is absolutely murder and should be nowhere near a Premiership starting XI.

Obika was decent. Nothing more, nothing less.
Gave us all he had, which the fans always appreciated, but he can be replaced.

On a side note, hopefully this season has been a learning curve for Goodwin. As much as their have been definite improvements, some utterly baffling line-ups and subs have cost us in some big games this season.
2 -
I really hope we get Durmus tied up to a new deal. That would be massive for us.
As for those heading out, if JDH, Erwin, Quaner, Connolly all go then I can't say I'd be that arsed. Obika? If he stays then good, if he goes then meh.
Dennis playing up top alongside the likes of a Chris Kane type player would be much more palatable than pish like Erwin and Quaner.
Not sure I get the criticism of Erhahon. The boy has just turned 20 and has been one of our top 4/5 players all season long.
Also, get McAllister out too. He's a Championship player at best.

Most St Johnstone fans are genuinely weird as f**k.
Oddballs.
2 -
Starting Erwin, then bring on Quaner for Dennis. f**k me.
Obika is surely away in the summer. If I couldn’t get in this team ahead of fucking Erwin and Quaner I’d chuck it too.

We’ve shat the bed, for the third time this season.

What is Quaner?
Honkin.

And that is why Quaner hasn’t played much...he is absolutely pish.

Imagine what Pogacar would do to this GC with a strong team around him.
