He's a decent guy usually but his wife is a very active member of the labour party and he has an absolute hatred (I use that word deliberately) of the snp. It's bizzare how vehement some of them become whenever the snp is brought up.

I was speaking to a die hard labour guy tonight and he was telling me about the time George Galloway handed "that nationalist bitch nicola" her arse in a televised debate before the referendum. Does anybody remember this actually happening and does anybody have a link?

Him and Andrew Neil seem to genuinely like each other so that may explain his frequent daily politics appearances but for me he's just a bit too cheeky chappy. The other side of this though is Stuart hosie who Neil obviously detests. It's all a balance I suppose.

Nicholson is the daily politics token snp guest usually and I think he's terrible. Everything is presented as a bit of a joke and while that might help take the edge off the snps image down south I'd much rather have a serious snp voice on these kind of programmes.

Have started watching this on sky box sets. I'm really enjoying it but watching it back to back certain things start to get really obvious and annoying. The overuse of the phrase "reached out" is one example of this. It's probably not something you'd notice watching it weekly. Also reddington either has the fastest jet in the world or a flux capacitor! It's still gripping viewing though!

That seems fairly reasonable although I'd be interested to see what the stats were when the lib dems were the 3rd party at Westminster.
