Scarface 2/10 Im sure i will get some comments for this but i honestly think the film is utter cack, Pachino is outstanding dont get me wrong but i just think the plot is drawn out and dull. These days it seems like every wannabe thug loves this movie. Flags for our fathers 8/10 Ive allways had a soft spot for WW2 movies and i just finished watching on the telly and now im watching letters from iwo Jima. I really enjoyed this film, but the only thing i didnt follow is why the Native American soldier didnt want to be associated with the flag raising. Hard Candy 9/10 Ellen paige is a 14 year old girl who gets friendly with a 32 year old man over the internet and decide to meet up and then go back to his place, but with a disturbing twist, excellent acting and proof that less can be more with a great plot. Drag me to hell 7/10 Billed as a horror but i found it more funny than scary. Angry gypsy curses a bank teller for refusing her a loan(or something) towards her home. Unusual film but its to be expected from Sam Rammi Dogma 10/10 I know Kevin Smith is regarded as a pretty terrible director and actor but this film is just pure entertainment, and any film that can piss of christians is allways good in my book. Great acting especially by Ben affleck (who would have thought?) and a excellent cast in all aspects. Totally love the film. They should have ended it on III i mean jigsaw has had his throat sliced by ironically a circular saw, for me that should have been it, jigsaw is dead job done. But as i said i did like seeing the back story moments in Saw IV. If was director id have made saw III 30 minutes longer and mix in the back story of Jigsaw from the 4th installment. That way you learn how he became who he was then he dies and thats it, the angry scottish man gets his daughter but is scarred for life by that black guy being killed rather than redeemed and thats that.

This isnt exactly a normal review, im planning on watcing Saw V tonight with the girlfriend, so im gonna do a quick review of the series. The first half of the series (1-2) were excellent in my opinion and i didnt watch them for the gore and "Torture Porn" i was hooked on the plot, mainly jigsaws character John Kramer. I think hes a excellent character and the only reason i watched the okay 3 and the utterly dire 4 was for the story of him becoming jigsaw. I think its safe to say that tobin bell is the main reason the series is still making money. To give the films credit tho, they have proved once again that movies need much more than big hollywood budgets and tired big name actors to make a profitable film series. I know wikipedia is legendary for its potential innaccuracys but i checked up on the budgets and box office gross of the series: The first 5 films cost 36 million to cost and have made 668 million so far. Ive heard that V is utter shite but im gonna give it a chance. My Scores I: 8/10 II: 9/10 III: 6/10 IV: 5/10 - The parts with tobin Bell: 7/10 The rest: 3/10

X-Men Origins: Wolverine 9/10 I was very surprised by this movie, i expected very little from it. You would think it was going to be one of those "Independant" franchise movies that is just lacking what made the franchise a franchise, I was very wrong. Jackman and schireiber are excellent as the brothers Logan and Creed, they play off each other very well and have some great dialoge. The plot flows very well and the action in the film is more tame than i had expected, i was expecting all out Micheal Bay with lots of explosions and cheesy action. If your a fan of the character or film series then i highly recomend!

Transformers 2 7/10 Not as good as i expected as the trailers were awesome. Still a very entertaining movie, but they have removed almost all the comedy of the first film im place of more fight scenes. Most likey this was done because fans bitched there wasnt enough in the first one. The plot is simple and easy to follow, big bad guy robot wants to destroy earth, needs Shia Labeouf to find the key to do so. One thing that im glad didnt change is that Bumble Bee is still the star of the film, not optimus. If your a fan of the first film and a general action movie fan then im sure you will enjoy.

Both machines have thier ups and downs, i never denied that, mostly im just disapointed and angry with the ps3 cause i was a sony fanboy for so many years, i dont work for them and im certainly not diluded.

You just as much with the achievements system, you might not get an award for completing but it does give you a 100% mark to denote your completion of the game, and the scoring system in my opinion is better than a trophy. There arent set scores that can be assigned to achievements, infact in fifa 09 there were a 19 point achievement and a single point one. The xbox has the same media file system as the ps3. and we can join 8 people per room party chats regardless of the game we are on. Plus we can play games on our pc's and get achievements from them too. And its true that the quality of a game is dependant on the creator, but how can they do a great job when its much more difficult and expensive to do on a playstation 3, which is why usually 360 games look better. They playstation has dedicated so much to this tech, and lost so much money on it. Regardless of how good blue ray is suposed to be, the 360 has been able to release the same games on the 360 with the same content and graphics as the ps3 using these "outdated" dvds discs. So in my opinion Playstation wasted thier time. I admit its annoying that we dont have a browser, but ive sent plenty of messages on my xbox using my controller and i couldnt be annoyed doing that to access the internet, and i know i could buy a keyboard or controller keypad, but i just dont see the point when i have a perfectly fine pc. Its clear we are both determined to defend our consoles here, but being a playstation fan who was forced upon a xbox due to the failures of the ps3 i have to say i honestly think the xbox is still the better machine. Mostly due to sony losing so much money and so many of thier previously exclusive game titles. And if the rumors of a mgs 4 on xbox and if the project natal turns out to be as good as the claim i honestly think the ps3 is done for.

When final fantasy 13 comes out for the playstation it will be the first square enix game to come out for the console. Mistwalker Studio's are a Xbox only studio and they are helmed by the creator of Final Fantasy. They also have The Last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Theres some exclusives right there. The playstation came out far too late and with inferior stolen versions of thier rivals ideas. The Six axis is a complete joke and dont get me started on the trophy system. The dashboard looks horrible. and most versions of the console simply dont have any backwards compatablity. When i was waiting for the ps3 years ago i realised that the machine was gonna cost me a fortune and give me a list of things i couldnt do. Anyone with any common sence would by a xbox, its cheaper and you get significantly more value for your money. Forza 2(and 3), Gears of war, Halo(and later DLC, Reach), Crackdown 1&2, The GTA DLC, Ninja Gaiden 2, Left 4 Dead, Mass Effect, Prey are just some of the Great exclusives that i can think of right now mate. Okay lads, its time to end this arguement once and for all! The Xbox has completely and utterly raped the ps3. Sony has lost at least 3.3 Billion due to the Playstation 3, and they have also lost nearly all of thier major exclusive gaming franchises. You can argue that the ps3 might be able to produce better graphics, but at the rate of progression the 8th generation consoles will be coming out before then. A gaming console will not survive without games to play on it and being that the 360 has a larger and overall better collection of games for it, i think its safe to say who is the winner here. Next year a new 360 will be coming out with the project natal technology built directly into the system, which will only help continue the 360s dominance in the main stream gaming market. Sonys problem was that they waited far to long to bring out thier machine, and blue ray was the death of the console. Its because of the Blue ray tech that sony have lost so much, when the ps3 first came out they cost £800 to make and were selling for £500. All major gaming consoles will allways sell at a loss when they first come out, but not £300 a console, and usually they make thier money back with software sales, but how can sony do that if every major gaming company are sick and tired of the extra work and money involved in bring out titles for the ps3. I was a fan of sony for many years, but ive been nothing but disapointed with the ps3 and i just wouldnt spend money on one because i know i would simply waste my money. Now im not saying the xbox is without faults because i know it is, ive had one for around 3 years and im on my second xbox. I know there are others out there who seem to burn through thier machines like toilet paper after a dodgy curry, but it was the exact same on the playstation 2 years ago. So lets end this arguement and accept who the clear victor is.

"Pineapple Express" What can i say?, the movie is comical. The dialogue is truely fantastic and the acting wonderful. You get the feeling while watching the movie that everyone in the movie just clicked together, they were on the same page. Some of the scenes during the movie, the fight in reds apartment and the car chase are just brillaintly put together and delightful to watch. I totally recommend this movie to anyone who hasnt seen it yet 9/10
