Agree with this. There's somethings you just shouldn't buy at the outlets. The exchange difference on some of the designer stuff is enough in the proper shops is enough. My mrs got an MK bag for 137quid in Macy's, same bag is 240 over her. I wouldn't waste a day out of New York to go 50 miles away shopping when you've got a whole city full of shops. If you're looking for 3 pairs of jeans for 50dollars then by all means go for it. If you're just going for a spoach then you're just as well staying in the city and making the most of it. I'd also say to see anywhere near enough of Central Park you'd need about 5/6 hours. We spent 3 hours in it the last time we were there and when we looked on google maps we'd hardly even left Columbus circle.

As noted already the best way seems to be to book everything through BA. We got 5 nights and flights 24th - 29th December for £675 with BA. Seems like the best way to do it.

3-0 against the Rangers in the Regular Season. 15-7 aggregate score, here's hoping for some more of that. We were at the Lightning Opening game this season and my girlfriend said the other opening game she was at Lightning one the Stanley Cup. She's still saying she's a lucky charm.

Made it pretty easily last night. Not sure who i'd prefer in the conference finals, wins over both in the Regular Season. Probably prefer to face the Capitals but I think a 3-1 win for the Rangers is on the cards tonight.

I just think Messi has that something unbelievably special about him. Watching that goal live last night reminded me why I love football, just have to sit back and enjoy it. Sitting on the sofa just laughing at how good it was. For me Messi, when fully fit, will always be ahead of Ronaldo. It seems now Ronaldo has become a typical number nine. Not too much involvement in the over all game, feeds of the scraps and takes every chance he gets - which is why his goal scoring record is so incredible. In games that aren't going Madrids way he doesn't seem, from what I've seen in the 6 months, to take the game by the scruff of the neck and decide what direction it's going in. Messi does. There was a big article about it, i think it might have been in FourFourTwo, detailing the 'Important' goals that the two of them had scored and Messi was miles out in front. The number of games his goals had won for Barca was unreal. Ronaldo on the other hand was grabbing hattricks when Madrid were already 2/3-0 up for example. That put things into context for me a little bit. The debate could go on and on but for me Messi will always be ahead. Seeing him play in the flesh, I have seen Ronaldo twice too, was just something special. The sheer adulation of the Camp Nou when he comes onto the pitch is something I've never seen before.

Watched the first period then went to bed. Was all montreal in the 1st, Tampa scored on what was effectively a 6 minute power play. First time in the play offs the lightning have taken advantage of power plays . 2-0 in the series with 2 home games to come this week. As i said earlier, 5-0 against them in the regular season so I was pretty confident of this one.

5-0 in the regular season so hoping to advance here to the conference final. Been awful in the play-off games so far (i've only watched highlights) so really need to improve. Girlfriends sister and brother in law who we usually go to Florida with are leaving on Sunday and hoping to get to the game next Saturday, not very happy they're getting to go!

Think it's something to do with running through. Red light and causing a crash while under the influence. Sure more will come out over night.

There should be a thread dedicated to Club Tropicana and Vogue. Some of the photos on their facebook page on a Sunday are truly fantastic.

Last summer when I was at my fittest (gym 5 days a week) I did do a fair bit of cardio in the gym but never running. Had a stop at about half way for about a minute of stretching. I'm going to try and build it in with a bit of a weights program in the morning (alternating days probably). On the running side am I better trying to build up stamina, in terms of distance, before working on speed, in terms of mins/mile. I've never been a runner - a couple of miles here and there - more of in too circuits and gym but think I might stick at it so any tips would be grand.

First run in about 3 years this morning. Decided I was getting a bit too unfit for my liking. Work has really got in the way of my exercise in the last 6 months. 2 miles done in just under 20 minutes, which I didn't think was too bad. Blowing out my arse when I got in the door though. Last stretch back to the house was a tough one.

Defiantly this. If you're serious about taking it up. Get yourself to a pro and get some lessons, 4 or 5 will probably do the trick to get the basics in. Your game will be better quicker and as already stated you'll nip bad habits in the bud before they become bad habits. Good Luck.

Was at the Lightenings first game of the season in October - my first NHL game. So have been keeping an eye on their results all season. No chance of the Stanley Cup but think they could do okay in the play-offs. Pretty good record, considering the expectation from fans at the start of the season - those who i spoke to in the arena.
