  1. But would you spam their company's social media pages and bore their customers to death with your holier than thou opinions?
  2. So should all unconvicted, suspected rapists who are plumbers, electricians, joiners, carpet cleaners, kitchen fitters, plasterers etc be prohibited from carrying out their trade? Should they all be made to sign on and claim benefits for life at tax payers expense?
  3. 1 in 16 (6.5%) men are rapists. (2002 Lisak study), although other studies show as high as nearly 15%, or 1 in 7 men. So statistically most football squads have a rapist playing for them. Statistically, you'll probably have a family member or a friend who has raped. There's many rapists that are not prosecuted but carry on without the publicity that Goodwillie has received. Will you be so concerned when your partner let's a random electrician or a plumber into the house?
  4. Thank you for the heads up. I didn't see it. I doubt, however, many of the non Clyde supporters I sold tickets to will be reading the bottom of the page about the QP game being postponed. A simple tweet or full webpage on the OS news section would've been better.
  5. Was the festive raffle ever drawn? I've seen nothing on twitter or the OS.
  6. My impression that Goodwillie had an additional job for was from this article https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/sport/17970153.danny-lennon-hails-perfect-professional-david-goodwillie-getting-life-track-rape-shame/
  7. I was under the impression he had another job but I'll defer to your greater knowledge. I may also be wrong about his salary at Clyde. I'm going on rumours from those around me at the match which seem to coalesce around the same salary. Again, I'll defer to anyone else that knows differently.
  8. No rumours about incoming players? I have to admit to my naivety in thinking we would have had players lined up ready to sign immediately in January. The reality is we'll probably be waiting for 18 year old, old firm kids in the last year of their contacts to take on loan. I hope I'm proven wrong and we pull some cracking players out the bag. I can only hope we've learned our lessons re. recruitment. As for Goodwillie, I can't see him leaving. Why would he want the grief of moving clubs and the publicity that would bring? Excellent wage at Clyde plus his other electrician (?) income would be difficult to match for a full-time team below the premiership.
  9. Airdrie 2-0 East Fife Clyde 1-2 Cove Falkirk 1-0 Dumbarton Montrose 2-0 Alloa QP 2-0 Peterhead
  10. Out of interest, how many QP players are listed as first team? Looking at their website it looks like a big playing squad for this level that includes three goalkeepers. I'm not suggesting QP are at it but I'm surprised they can't put a team together given the COVID protocols that should be in place.
  11. Disappointed that Clyde didn't manage to sell 500 tickets to our own fans for this match. I can only assume that there are many fans worried about possible risk of infection.
  12. Oh.... and you'll also re-signed him a couple of seasons later
  13. You should know. He played 20 matches for Dundee United after the date of the alleged rape.

  16. If the rumours of Goodwillie's salary at Clyde are true, they're no chance he's moving.
  17. Also note that while with Clydebank, Phil Johnston was capped by Junior Scotland. At Clyde he was an awful fullback who never in his entire Clyde career put in a cross that wasn't blocked or over hit.
  18. I've been very critical of the team and manager this season but today is a terrific result. Well done Clyde.
  19. This will give Clyde fans a view into a future. A team without Goodwillie [emoji33]
  20. Just booked my tickets for the Queen's Park and Cove matches. Seems a little overly complicated for someone who maybe isn't IT savvy. eg. The required reference code wasn't easy to find even with the instructions. Hopefully the club have alternative options for some of our numerous older fans who'll maybe struggle.
  21. Now that crowds are limited to 500, I assume after the many complimentary tickets are dispensed they'll be no room for season ticket holders.
  22. Montrose 2-1 Peterhead Airdrieonians 3-1 Alloa Cove Rangers 3-0 East Fife Falkirk 2-1 Clyde Queen’s Park 2-0 Dumbarton
  23. The fog intensity varied throughout the match. However the trend was getting worse. If the match continued, it would've been a travesty for the paying customer. It's a disgrace that fan experience is not taken into account when playing on fog. For a large portion of the match the players, especially those wearing the Airdrie strip disappeared into the fog on the far side. Never mind the invisible ball.
