  1. If it's the case that Danny Lennon didn't utilise the recruitment team's recommendations, what was the point of them being employed at all, even for a pittance?
  2. Signing a full back is good news. However, an eighteen month contract? Who sanctioned that length of contract when the manager's contract ends in the summer? Also interesting that he is a former Gretna player
  3. I think you may be right. The GP has obviously told him to avoid excitement. Watching his team play certainly ticks that box.
  4. Don't get me wrong. I'm fully on board with booing the team after a performance like today's. The in-game booing of Thicot was wrong in my opinion. Wasn't Cameron due a booing? Wasn't Lyons?
  5. Thicot's "tackle" for the penalty was the most brain dead stupidity I've known since I first winched my future ex-wife. However, get the booing of our own players to f**k. Christ! Even Robert Jones was never booed in a Clyde shirt
  6. Expecting we're waiting closer to the end of the transfer window to pick up any sloppy seconds. I'd guess two eight stone, eighteen year olds who'll play a cumulative 11 minutes over the the rest of the season. *I'm on the brink of not really caring anymore
  7. Seriously, are we allowing an important midfielder to walk away with two matches still to be played before the transfer window opens.
  8. Deadline for applications re. Community Asset Transfer of Crownpoint was yesterday I believe. Does anyone know when we should hear if there were any rival applications?
  9. Shocking for a referee not to give a foul for a high foot when 6' 4" Sula gets kicked in the face. Almost as ridiculous as Parry's attempt at preventing the goal.
  10. Genuine question. I'm not trying to take the piss. In today's game and last week's match, what were Clyde's tactics. What were we trying to do? All I see are high balls to Allan's head/chest (if they go anywhere near him at all). We continuously missed out midfield. Is that it? Is that our tactics?
  11. Is Crownpoint not a long time plan? Surely it is. Broadwood and NDP are/were not Broadwood WAS a considerable mill stone around our neck that left is no room for us to grow financially. We all knew that. If I recall correctly, Season Tickets sales are up at NDP this season compared to Broadwood. The fan experience is much better at NDP compared to Broadwood. I don't know if Crownpoint will happen and I don't know if it will be a success. However, it's a chance worth taking as the alternatives do not address the big issues of income and spending power.
  12. An abomination of a Clyde performance. Who'd have guessed punting high balls up to Allan and McDonald would be an unsuccessful tactic? Midfield and defence were all over the place. Worst performance of the season. For what it's worth, Dumbarton looked a decent side.
  13. Does anyone have an idea when Duthie may return to action?
  14. Typical! Rob Jones fails to score again.
  15. I've no idea why Lennon chose to leave Allan on the bench for some matches. In my opinion he's the best striker we've had, bar Goodwillie, for quite a while. He makes a nuisance of himself and always looks dangerous. It's nice to enjoy a Clyde match for a change. The Bully Wee juggernaut is finally starting to roll. Finally, congratulations to plucky wee Falkirk for hanging on for a draw.
  16. At least our Head of Football and our new manager will be pulling in the same direction. For example, both thought Rob Jones was a decent striker worth signing.
  17. I'm trying to think of the advantages of Duffy returning. The only one I can think of is you can now go for a pee halfway through the second half and know you're not going to miss any excitement. Come to think of it, you'll be able to go anytime during the match and not miss any excitement. As an older gentleman with weak bladder, this should not to be dismissed as any minor benefit.
  18. The perfect linesman would look like this
  19. Absolutely Rob Jones was special I'm his ineffectiveness. Incredibly shite
  20. Allan should be a starter for Clyde every match. We have no one better in that position. No idea why we waited until we were behind before making a substitution. I also don't see what Cameron brings to the team. Thought we were worth a point. Two pretty poor teams that lack creativity. It was a game I'll struggle to remember in a month's time.
  21. If I recall correctly, Martin Laughlin's East Kilbride was a high spending club in comparison to other Lowland League teams As an indicator of the monies being spent, you just need to look at the size of the disputed bonuses he was claiming from the club when he left. They were hardly plucky upstarts punching above their weight.
  22. I always thought the guy sitting with the laptop amongst the player section of the stand was PJ Corr.
  23. I've seen a few comments from Clyde fans on Twitter saying Graham Diamond and PJ Corr should follow Danny out the door. Would I be correct in thinking that Diamond, as Head of Football Operations, was Danny Lennon's boss? If so, does that mean "Mr No" was involved in the decision to sack Danny? Would he now be a major player in recruiting a new manager?
  24. Reading this I'm starting to think I've been too harsh on Danny Lennon
