  1. New strip release and one photo of it on the official site. I may be nitpicking but I'd like to see the back of it too. Are the chevrons front and rear? There may be a big NLL emblem on it for all I know.
  2. I'm more interested in the prices for relegation. I feel my expertise is more suited to that area.
  3. Perhaps our intention is to sweep all before us this season. If I may say so, it's about bloody time.
  4. I never really rated Livingstone. Although, i've no problem with him trying to move up football's greasy pole. It's what footballers do. He's not under contract so owes us absolutely nothing. The same goes for Cuddihy. What I would have a problem with, is the club hanging on to see what happens. We should move to pastures new and not hang about after the dance to see what's left.
  5. The free-scoring trialist had a very impressive goal to appearance ratio for Gretna.
  6. Danny says, "We have been a bit patient, but there’s players we’ve identified and spoken to who are keeping their options open at the moment and that’s what we’ll do as well." Hopefully, we're not making the same mistakes as last season. Give an early deadline for a decision and stick to it.
  7. I just didn't see this Mark Lamont. I only saw the one that, performance wise, rarely turned up and struggled with fitness. There's a reason he's now in the WoS league.
  8. Why would he be sacked after losing 10 games? There'll be absolutely no fan pressure to sack him as they have absolutely no fans.
  9. What's the point of paying for club staff to maintain a player recruitment database and developing a scouting network for us to then rely on looking at trialists?
  10. Balatoni has signed for Civil Service Strollers. That's three of last summer's defensive recruits now signed for Lowland League teams.
  11. That doesn't excuse recent votes to allow Colts and limit the number of teams promoted to the Lowland League to one.
  12. Teams with no supporters in a league that overly limits multiple traditional, larger and, arguably, better teams from entering that league. They also voted to allow Colt teams into the league as they have no supporter base to answer to.
  13. They had an average home league attendance of 89 last season at £8 for entry How can they then afford to rent Broadwood for anything close to what Clyde were paying?
  14. Luckily he's away. Surprised he's not been snapped up by a South of Scotland League team yet.
  15. If that's the case the club should simply announce their departure.
  16. Danny sticking to his statement on deadlines for players to decide on signing? Cuddihy, Livingstone and Splaine still to declare. It's well over a month since the end of our season. No doubt we'll be used as a bargaining tool again
  17. Nothing says social inclusion more than a council charging patrons for a service at the same time as preventing a charity from offering that same service for free. It's not as if the poor and needy of North Lanarkshire deserve the health benefits of walking football. NLC have decided it should only be the preserve of those able to pay.
  18. So far we've signed players from : Dumbarton Kauno Zalgiris Stirling Albion Airdrie Fauldhouse United East Stirlingshire Stenhousemuir Excluding the signing from the Lithuanian team there's only one player from a team that finished above a dreadful Clyde squad last season. So much for the post Goodwillie dividend delivering a better quality squad. Optimistically, are the exciting signings still to come? Or is the reality, I have to look forward to shite squads every season until I'm finally immortality challenged?
  19. Craig Bryson is dropping from the Premier League all the way to League Two. There must be reasons for that.
  20. We shouldn't forget that Danny Lennon said he wouldn't repeat the mistake of waiting on players to commit. Give them a deadline and move on if they're stringing us along.
  21. Jordan Allan will have his work cut out surpassing Robert Jones's mighty 4 league goal tally from last season. Seriously though, he must be better that the worst striker I've ever seen play for Clyde.
