Phantom's-livi-lass and I are punters like the thousands of others who toddle off and pay their money to watch their teams on a Saturday. We are not into the politics of football. The folk you have a gripe with don't come anywhere near these forums. Having lost so much money you are perfectly justified in screaming at us as much as you do but at the end of the day we had as much input into how the club was run then as it has been under Massone. I am not looking for the club to get off Scot free but I think being expelled completely from the SFL would be harsh on the remaining fans who care about it. I await you next diatribe with trepidation .

Jeez and here was me thinking it was only Livi that did that. Surely not! I think that the fans should do something about it. Oh wait a minute the fans are never asked or listened to for that matter. Oh for god's sake DF give it a rest. I am not going to argue with you because you know something, you are perfectly correct. There is no justification for what has gone on at Livi. Every time I read your posts I go on yet another guilt trip. I constantly feel the need to apologise to you and to all the other folk who have come on here and have a go because there is no doubt I am definitely guilty of having become a fan of a club that has acted disgracefully over the years. But honestly I understood this about 3000 posts ago just as well as I do now. There was a point around the middle of May when your posts were reasonably constructive and informative. There was even advice given out occasionally. Since then though it has been one long harangue after another. There is absolutely nobody disagreeing with you. It seems to me that nothing other than the elimination of LFC will satisfy you. Fair enough. The thousands of words you have written on the subject would persuade a Philadelphia lawyer that this is the only correct end game. However sorry as I am for the failings of the owners we have had the misfortune to have had I can't help but remain a committed Livi fan. Football just gets you like that! I haven't got the £1.3 million that has been squandered away but I will give what I can because I want my club to continue (feel guilty again for saying that). I am heartily sick of chancers in charge though and if we do survive and I get the slightest inkling that there has been no change I will walk away. I am not going through this again.

Spot on. From where I am sitting tonight Livi playing in the third division next year is the equivalent to Rangers supporters of being in the Champions League. As long as there is still a Livi I don't mind where they play.

Of course they are not going to invest. Massone has none to invest and Rankine is not that daft. I can't quite figure out what his game is though. Massone was not given an easy time on Saturday. he was asked plenty of difficult questions but what do you do when you ask someone repeatedly and they answer with a 5 minute speech in broken English that has nothing to do with what you asked? What I felt like doing would only have got me arrested. One of his prime tactics is obviously to talk till people lose the will to live. Folk on here keep saying do this do that but the guy is stuck there like a leech with fans jumping up and down in frustration. This is not a Clyde or Stirling Albion situation where fans know the score and can get stuck in to save the club. Other than administration we can't get him out unless we give him £250k which we don't have and which would be given to him over my dead body even if we did. I am praying the council don't give in.

Yes, agree. I can think of two ways to describe this Rankine move 1) blackmail and 2) barefaced cheek. It's also a way of finding favour with the nore gullible members of the Livi community. Eh, I think that the season ticket money I paid last year was supposd to help pay the staff for this season. And if next year's season ticket money was needed to pay April/May/June staff wages then we were always going to be well and truly stuffed for the year ahead.

When did the trust request withholding season ticket money? I must have missed that. Even if they had there were a lot more folk not buying season tickets than there are trust members. Stephen Mulholland definitely said that we should stick with Massone. Is it not Stephen Mulholland's father who has sponsored Livi?

For Livi FC, zilch. For Neil Rankine a public relations job during which I am sure he managed to impress some of the more gullible members of the support who would possibly have welcomed Saddam Hussein as long as he spoke £££. Anybody who sat alongside Angelo Massone at a top able is not to be trusted. IMO
