  1. That is a key point. Charles Green doesn't quite strike me a guy who is doing this for the benefit of the ex-Rangers support. He knows that there is a potential cash cow at the end of this and will keep it going until this is realised. However, he isn't going to do this for an extended period of time.
  2. Complete desperation, pure and simple. Think the powers that be are well aware that the game is now up. Regan, Longmuir and Doncaster need to go. Get fresh people in and let's do reconstruction the sensible way.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7tVzYJkZeY Arguably the best rapper of all time.
  4. I honestly thought the exact opposite. First couple of songs did nothing for me but was enjoying it towards the end.
  5. Another great show. Aries is just fantastic. Can't see him winning on Sunday but it is clear this man is going to the top. Actually think they're backing the wrong man and Aries should be the one pushed into the BFG main event. Joseph Parks is equally as good. Please keep him on tv. 3/4 of the X divisions guys sucked....worth it for Kenny King though. Think they have their replacement for A double.
  6. Thomson is intelligent/literate. Feel sorry for Craigan/McPherson.....Chick Young or Traynor would have been far better.
  7. Absolutely disgusting. If this goes through, I'm done. What is the fucking point in spending hundreds of quid a season.
  8. Just getting the feeling Scottish football fans are going to get stitched up by these short-sighted plans. The relentless bending over backwards to save Newco may be the final nail in the coffin of Scottish football. If these proposals go through, thousands of fans will be lost for good.
  9. A quick application search on Registers Direct at £3 will disclose who owns Ibrox.
  10. Think that is the crux of it. Whilst it may be what the governing bodies want, it won't be what the clubs want.
  11. Is the SFL chairman not also chairman of Airdrie, a club who will benefit from Rangers in the 3rd?
  12. Perhaps I am overreacting but that is the best wrestling TV show I have seen in a long time. TNA is on fire just now and here's hoping they can keep it up going into BFG. Everyone on TV virtually is watchable.
  13. This morning's revelation is nothing short of disgraceful. I thought the football club formerly known as Rangers could stoop no lower. However, this deal is disgusting. If the football club formerly known as Rangers gets away with this scot-free, I worry I will lose all my appetite for football in Scotland. I love Dundee Football Club and love watching them play. Admittedly, I thought I was done when Dundee went into administration for the second time. However, I was won back by the heroic efforts of our support and players. If the football club formerly known as Rangers get back in the SPL though, I don't know what I will do. I cannot see how things can ever be redeemed in my eyes. Scottish football has one chance to change...blow it and this chance is gone for good. Kick the football club formerly known as Rangers out and re-work the OF weighted voting provisions. A lot is talked about finance. Surely 11 clubs in a non-Rangers SPL could vote to adjust the share of the money so as to compensate. The SPL chairman have one opportunity. Otherwise we will have the status-quo for good.
  14. Rangers lawyers get paid to say things like that. My assertion, and bearing in mind I am not paid by Rangers, is that the age discrimination point is a tenuous argument at best.
  15. If I were cynical, I would be thinking that their lawyers were just trying to rack up their fees...
  16. Haha, I always feel a little hypocritical when talking about Rangers' financial plight. I am not proud of the way Dundee has conducted themselves financially and do appreciate other supporter's perceptions of them. If Dundee had been liquidated, I would not have expected us to walk back into the 1st Division though.
  17. If a new-co Rangers is allowed to just saunter back into the league, I think many fans will be done for good. These fans will never come back. Regardless of the short term financial hit, which nonetheless is hypothetical right now, that clubs may have to put up with, SPL clubs need to think long term. Letting a new-co Rangers back in the league will be the final nail in the coffin for Scottish football.
