You got in there before I did. My own wife is not that political but she thought what Johnson had been doing was a bloody disgrace. She does not normally vote, but the attacks on Sturgeon and this shite have made her absolutely determined to vote SNP. She also asked about voting SNP on the list - I said it was a wasted vote in our area and if she wanted to vote for an independence party it was the Greens or Alba - given she can't stand Salmond I think it may well be the case that she votes Green on the list.

The one thing I've not been able to do in over a year is hug my mum. It's the one thing I miss above all else.

Some of the polling organisations are going to end up with egg on their face come election day - the list vote seems to be all over the place plus the SNP constituency vote is at that level where a few points either way could be a real difference. It also should be noted that those latest polls are before all the Johnson shenanigans - wonder if there will be an effect there?

Piecewise there was little in it - was a point in then sacrificed my rook to open him up - a good example of developing pieces and then castling - he failed to castle and my bishop stopped him doing so for the entire game - his king was under pressure from all sides with his own pieces unable to support collectively. Just one inaccuracy according to the analysis - says I should have castled quicker - but I was more intent on developing pieces first and providing additional protection my E4 pawn - castled 2 moves later so it was not a huge inaccuracy.
