One or two City fans didn't come back although I suspected one always preferred golf to football and the other changed his mind and did come back.
As Tenkay said it was you Cowden fans, rightly or wrongly, gave Tommo the most stick (outside the Clyde tossers) during matches which makes me wonder why he would want to join Cowden. As we won't be shouting anything and you Blue Brazilians are passionate about your team I hope for a better atmosphere at Cowden v City games than before. I actually quite like trips to the much maligned Central Park
Anyway one thing I will say is Thomson is a good crosser of a ball and if you can get him to direct them on to Kris Fenton's head it'll be worth a few goals. And I wouldn't want to be a striker facing a defence of Thomson and Mullen, both of whom like to win a ball.
ETA quite like the way autotext has changed "Renton" to "Fenton". Renton, Renton, oh Jesus Christ, Renton!
Fentonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

Graham Taylor has signed for Berwick. Didn't play a lot for you, but how do you rate him?
The info on the Berwick website is wrong. GT played over 50 games for Cowden.
Decent player but very inconsistent.

Wedderburn was really good when he played for Cowden seems like a lifetime ago. He was never fast but didn’t have to be.
Wedderburn was good for us when he played at centre back.
Was really poor in midfield. Far too slow.

Hamilton will be back to St Johnstone as he was on loan.
Lowland / EOS League for him. Awful player.

How was Herd for us? I never really saw him play.
He was tidy enough in the games he played but wasn't considered first choice. Can understand him wanting first team football.

Stenhousemuir have signed Declan Hughes from BSC Glasgow. I understand he had a spell with Cowdenbeath. Is he any good? What kind of player should we be expecting?
My thoughts from 2015. Can't really comment on Declan now but you would hope that he has developed in 6 years :

Absolutely not but at least he would be given a game!
Thankfully Andy Russell isn't still about.
Bizarre that he was played ahead of Greg.0 -
Morgano Gomis has been released by Falkirk. Let's get the team back together

I thought Finnie was poor in his time with us. You could argue that he was playing out of position and really doesn't have a left foot but in the few games he had at right back, he wasn't much better. There's a reason he dropped down to the Lowland League.
I do think that Gary will try to re-sign him though.0 -
None of these guys are professional commentators, they are just fans and volunteers trying to help the club out. I imagine it's really hard to be a good commentator, I certainly wouldn't like to give it a go.

I remember the Forfar fans stating the same. He only seems to have one game plan and he sticks to it no matter what.
It might not have worked anyway, but why would you not try and change it to, say 2 or 3 upfront after Brechin score? It's like groundhog day. What does he think is going to miraculously happen?
Plan B is do Plan A worse.
Just need to agree with Annan to play out a 0-0 draw on Saturday.0 -

If score remains as it is, Brechin will have 9 points, with 7 of these from us!!
I count 4? We beat them 2-0 in December and drew 0-0 last week.

A post on Cowdenbeath facebook page suggested the manager received a red card after the game, is this true?
Yes.

An interesting decision to be made at left back. No doubt Tommy Robson was first choice but Brody Paterson has come in and done really well.
You could play a manikin at left back and it would still predict Robbie Buchanan cutting inside and tackle him.

I hope Blair Henderson is ok. It looked a bad shoulder injury and he was going for a hatrick.
Pretty sure Blair only got one last night. I don't think he got a touch on Brown's shot and De Vita put in the third after keeper fumbled it.
Think he's been credited with the third though.

Are we playing Stranraer this Saturday?
It shows on their website that they are playing Cowden this Saturday but on our website fixture list it shows as our next game vs Edinburgh City
Website shows we are playing Stranraer on Saturday and Edinburgh on Tuesday?

Fair play to Annan for getting 7 and a half minutes of highlights from that game.

What do you want the club to say? If fans have decided they aren't going to return, what could the board say to change their minds?
