  1. Read the thread. it's very complicated and there is lots of maybe's and what if's. Of course there is a possibility that teh club will move to another location, but this isn't about property as far as WLC are concerned. It might well be in the best interest of LFC to move, if so, none of us would oppose that. There is nothing black and white about Livi's situation right now. The SFL are not looking at only polling their membership on this matter of Massone owning shares, but there is a lot more re-vamping needing done.
  2. ok, I'm sorry. I am being very defensive but I'll try harder to consider your opinions and points of view. Fair enough?
  3. How many bankrupt companies immediately resume trading under a different name. I don't agree with it, but everyone is acting all indignant when it's going on ALL the time in the business world (we're not even proposing this?). Anyway, LFC are commited to trying to pay these creditors something, we will take it on the chin if we end up with points deducted or relegation. We will even face the complete obliteration of LFC if it comes to it with some dignity hopefully. We no longer wish to be led to the slaughter house by irresponsible owners and will find our way through this. Believe it or not, we just love our club. The club is still young, this disaster is an eye opener for many, the state of scottish football is only becoming clear to me through my investigations and learing curve from my own clubs problems. I wonder how many of you realsie how close your going to come to this in the near future? Livi just had a head start on the road to disaster.
  4. your wrong. There is a thread on Livilions that goes into a lot of detail (title of thread Any Comments?) something missing from the majority of the emotive vitriol on here.
  5. sorry if you deliberatly missed the attempt at sarcasm. I was trying to highlight the negativity of this type of thinking, perhaps I am too involved to post clearly. I would rather we all helped each other, but clearly I am on a hiding to nothing. Shame your so easily swayed right enough.
  6. wrong. LFC has a 125 year lease. property dev (at this point) is a red herring.
  7. We were lied to over and over again, some saw this coming for a while, but not the majority. FFS, your chairmen still have to vote, we livi fans are still preparing for the worst. If the vote goes through who do you blame then? oh, and the trust has generated 10 grand since it was clear what was actually happening. As to the point of bankrupcy, this is an incredibly common way to avoid paying creditors as is fankly, CVA. oh and as for your "sanctimonious piety and crocodile tears", I think you know where you can stick it. My club might have pissed you off, but I'm just some guy, like you, so don't get too full of yourself.
  8. We want to cut our cloth accordingly, we want to live within our means. We believe this is entirely possible. No one is asking for sympathy because we had some radge owners. You all keep harping on about what is best for scottish football. Seem to me as long as your club isn't in trouble it's dog-eat-dog and your long term proposal is that every club that has a problem should just GTF, leave more room for us. Deduct points, relegate us, whatever, your right, livi's natural level must be found through fiscal policy and reasonable spending. I don't however agree that obliteration of clubs in scotland is prudent planning for it's future.
  9. Sorry, but you are taking moral high ground that doesn't exist for either Livi or the creditors. only if your not really connected to this sorry story can you believe the world is as uncomplicated as that. If livi go totally bust, the poor creditors you are standing up for GET NOTHING. NADA. If we go through CVA they will get something. Ask them which they prefer, most livi fans are ashamed of the hurt the creditors have borne and would rather see them get something than nothing. bearing in mind that one of the 2 biggest creditors took LFC to court to deliberately dislodge the current owner with a view to securing senior football in livi, not destroying it.
  10. utter pish. Your right it is undersirable and unpleasant, but there is no way that you'd fight for your club for a year under a mentalist owner only to rollover because other clubs fans don't like it.
  11. No, sorry try again. I am stating that Livi are now on a last chance and we have to run the club with the community model and youth development at the fore of everything we do. Income=expenditure. If livi fans stay away form games the money will go to Livi's coffers. If you stay away form livi's games, are you going to donate it to your club? Feck knows, your going to need it. But don't worry, if Falkirk find themselves in the shit, I'm sure your positivity will help rally everyone around. We certainly have the numbers in Livi, just need to get over our incredibly negative last few years. I am saying that we as livi fans have a mountain to climb in terms of stabilising our club, opening it up to the community and regaining some of our damaged reputation. Only time will tell, if we get the chance, I hope we can prove to you we are worth having around.
  12. No one at livi is proud of the way our last three owners have handeld the club, especially the last owner who faced protests from furious livi fans. He has brought us as low as it can get, and frankly, in opposition to the desires and beliefs of the community as a whole he has single handedly brought us to our knees once again. There is an argument that says , "why should livi get away with it?" this could be countered by "why should one man destroy a communities club". I'm sure the more tribalistic amongst you will say ' "Fcuk livi, not going to their games", as a supporter of your team I would think that was a bit shit for your team, no away team every time we play at home? Should give us a nice advantage (if you really want to be that generous). Also, if the Livi contingency decide to return the favour, I think a few clubs would suffer more than we would. In fact, if the Livi fans that stayed away from away games donated direct to the new regime, the it might work out well for everyone. Yes, I am being nasty, but you guys are tarring and feathering every single honest livi fan who has had to watch their club getting a new hole torn, pissing local businesses off (lots of whom are livi fans) and hacking off the entire footballing community in scotland. I'm sure you are wondering why the SFL are going to ask their members to vote (they can always say no remember), simple, Massone is one gaffe away from being sectioned and they can see Livi is a viable proposition for filling the fixtures next season. It's too late to do anything else. I know there is no chance cause you are all big tough guys, but a little empathy can go a long way. I can think of a couple of livi fans who bought shares in Stiring Albion to try and help them out, scottish football needs to galvanise to survive, not keep clamouring to climb on each others shoulders, at this moment, footballing success i.e. promotion, is the kiss of death for any club living outwith their means as we have been made to do by Massone and previous chairmen.
