  1. Could they take something at home to Hibs? I wouldn’t expect points from any of the other fixtures.
  2. You could see from the Highlights how effective White was by dropping short to play the simple football. I’m probably White’s biggest critic but he has been at his best when he does that (and is given a minute to reach the box again!). He has other matches where he can’t make a 10 yard pass stick, but he does seem to click well with Brophy for whatever reason.
  3. I couldn't go on Sat. Was the starting shape really a 3-4-3 with Jenks as a right-wing back (like the Sportscene highlights and Whoscored suggest)? The team sheet to me suggested a narrow 4-3-3. I did wonder if White starting with the other two was for a need to get more height into the team vs Livi. Fitting all three strikers on the pitch has to result in compromise elsewhere. [Going by the highlights at least], the three of them interlinked better than much of the team has through the season so far, so it must be be worth another shot with another home match tomorrow. I think an opposing manager will quickly suss out to double-up on the flanks to turn County's defence, but given how few good options there are to make and score goals in the side, I can see why Cowie might want to continue giving it a crack.
  4. Mind the time Vigurs and DKD ripped it up against Morton. DKD's assist for the Mckay opener was as good as the finish.
  5. Putting it out there that I'm not comfortable with speculating about someone's condition or otherwise on a public forum.
  6. I wonder how quickly Laidlaw, Baldwin and Leak return to the fold.
  7. The scorched earth he will leave behind him is unlikely to recover by Spring. Will that be enough to save the whole season? There are still six points to play for in head-to-heads vs Livingston.
  8. Dhanda is dropping deep to lead by example and get the team playing football, it’s clearly not a tactical decision. It should be six and, if it gets Adams away, I’ll take that score now.
  9. Efete is more likely a reaction to Randall's performance as the backup right-back against Partick Thistle. Borrowing the @capt_oats format, I think these are the options available to Adams, starting with the line-up he used at Livingston:- That midfield better start scoring some goals.
  10. Is there anything to be said for another midfielder.
  11. Phew, that goal was a bit against the run of play. Livi have had so many more clear cut chances since the equaliser. ETA I really am the jinx tonight.
  12. This Livi side look down and out… but they also looked like that in Dingwall and chored a point. ETA: aye
  13. Maybe Adams won't be signing Yann Songo'o in this window, but he's got Songo'o's pretender instead.
  14. Ayina played on the right of the back-three for United against County, in the post-split match last season. I know Jordan White scored a hat-trick of tap-ins against them, but I thought Ayina looked very good then, but also quite raw.
  15. A bit erratic but he struck me as someone with a lot of potential. He wasn’t shy in making forward runs.
  16. I thought Mikey Fraser had stood up for Adams in the past? If the likes of Higgins, Craig Curran and Chris Millar are happy enough to pipe up with an opinion, there's no chance that the majority of the squad are happy to put in maximum effort for Adams. I think the line-up vs Thistle was deliberately B-team-ish, and Adams alluded to giving players a chance and they haven't taken it. However, in a league of such fine margins among the diddy teams, the caustic man-management isn't going to help anyone.
  17. It’s not going to get better from here. One can’t successfully deflect by continually throwing the club and its players under the bus.
  18. @Matty-RCFC No, I forgot to replace him after I started to make that line-up!
  19. The line-up could be anything, but with Baldwin out it'll be a back four. I can't go, so I look forward to what is usually the best edition of Sportscene in the year. Pure guess: Wickens Brown | Nightingale | Leak | Borthwick-Jackson Allardice | Khela Sims | Dhanda | Murray White I want to see Henderson get a burn in the starting XI, I'm confident he would be more productive in the final third than Sims.
  20. On a more positive light, I've heard second-hand that Brandon Khela is one to look forward to, going by his brief time at the club.
  21. Adams used him on the right of a 4-2-3-1, with Slew on the left and Mellon up front.
