  1. Yes it is. We played Shildon pre-season last year and they had just won the Northern League but knocked back promotion because they couldn't afford it.
  2. My understanding is that a licence is only required from tier 5 and above.
  3. Seems a fairly good and understandable statement to me.
  4. Correct, I am currently preparing a report for my club regarding the possible requirements for Entry Level club licensing, should it become a reality for us and, from my detailed analysis of the SFA Licensing Manual, it certainly isn't something we as a club should be scared of.
  5. I didn't think so, but I wasn't certain. So if the juniors are incorporated into the pyramid at tier 6 as seems the most likely scenario at the moment, there is really no rush for any club to get a licence for at least two years, as the promoted sides from the top junior leagues at the end of 2019-20 would be the only ones who would need a permit at that stage. Am I correct ?
  6. Is a licence required to operate at tier 6 ?
  7. I can't believe anybody has addressed the really big issue here, i.e. Tom Johnstone's blatant and unprovoked use of the word "promulgated".
  8. The English pyramid has lots of different associations, all with their own governing bodies, but all ultimately under the FA banner.
  9. I noticed that as well, it confused me for a while till I worked out what the error was.
  10. I doubt any of the parties at the meeting will rush to tell P&B what was discussed.
  11. Perhaps he helps the West Region meet their constitutional fixture issuing.....
  12. They don't actually play in Ardeer, they play in Stevenston.
  13. But not the leagues below which feed into the West Prem ? How does that work ?
  14. It was mentioned on here plenty of times, on both clubs' Twitter and Facebook feeds and websites, and also advertised in local shop windows.
  15. The only bit left of the old Southcroft Park is a bit of wall on Glasgow Road, ironically the bit of wall I used to sit on as a kid.
  16. It's a minor error, Cameron is listed twice instead of Cunningham.
  17. You don't surprise me every week, but I do comment when I think the odds are surprising. I just find this week's surprising to have Cumbernauld almost "triple your money" for a win, while we are odds on, when the two teams are fairly evenly matched in their league records this season so far. I realise home advantage has been the deciding factor in recent games between the teams, but it's not such a big factor to make the odds so different (in my opinion). But you know your business better than me.
  18. I have to say I find that very very surprising. Both teams in the top half of the league table, only three points separating us, Cumbernauld could go above us with a win. I'm surprised you have us odds on, but I hope you're correct.
  19. Wrong forum for this tiresome rubbish.
