  1. West of Scotland Football League Championship Rule 12 :- "The Fixture Secretary shall, by 1st July or as soon as possible thereafter once dates for the Scottish FA Cup and South Region Challenge Cup are announced, produce a fixture list for the season. This fixture list will be subject to change depending on match postponements, cup replays etc. A minimum of 4 days’ notice will be given of any re-arranged fixture."
  2. As I said, I have no desire to re-visit that matter. It was 14 years ago and everyone has moved on.
  3. I have no doubt that you trust Tony's word and I have no reason to doubt it. Similarly I have no reason to doubt the other information that I have, and it has proven to be correct. I doubt Blantyre will explain reasons for a change of mind, if that is what has happened, there is no need for them to do so. All they should have to do is announce who their new manager will be. I'm unsure what Paterson and Smith leaving Glencairn over 14 years ago has got to do with this matter, and it's not a debate I really want to get into as that's all deep in history now and the people involved have long since moved on.
  4. I never had any doubts that Schoneville would make his mark at Talbot.
  5. Yes, he has a lot of potential, but he's still only 20 years old. Busy, tidy, and towards the end of last season started to bring and end product to his game. I'm not sure he's ready to hold down a regular starting place for Auchinleck Talbot just yet, but hopefully he proves me wrong.
  6. Unsure what that has to do with this thread.....
  7. Courses aren't bookable on Comet until July.
  8. Not really, as there was a rumour posted on here that Tony McInally had been offered the job, and my information is that is not correct. It may turn out that my information is duff, time will tell.
  9. Because I was asked not to, but the name I was told is not Tony McInally. But my information could be incorrect.
  10. Let's just say somebody was a little premature.
  11. I'll give Austin's new club the courtesy of announcing his signature after they finally agreed a deal with us today. Good luck to Austin, a young lad with a lot of potential and will only get better, still only 20 years old. He started the season as a very tidy player, lost his way a wee bit over the winter months, but regained his form towards the end of the season and started producing an end product to his play. Disappointed to lose him, but it's a good move for him and Glencairn are happy with the transfer fee. I hope he manages to establish himself in the team at his new club.
  12. I have heard differently, but I won't name the person.
  13. As the squad prepares to return to pre-season training this week, we thank the following players who will be leaving the club :- Mateusz Miller Lewis Blane Callum McDonald Austin Sime Fraser Anderson Kit Cummins We would like to wish all of these players good luck in the future.
  14. As long as they are able to maintain the licence, which (as I've mentioned many times) involves infinitely more than just having a compliant stadium.
  15. The licensing process re-opened ten days ago.
  16. I do get your point, but you won't be surprised that I don't necessarily agree with you. In 2013 (prior to the mass exodus from the East Region to the EoSFL) Glencairn reached the semi final, and only missed out on the final due to a flukey own goal for Auchinleck and the worst incorrect offside decision in history denying us an equaliser. That season we finished 6th in the old West Region Super League Division One, the equivalent of the WoSFL First Division where we are just now. Sometimes lower League teams reach the final. Shotts Bon Accord won the Scottish Junior Cup from the same league the season before we reached the semi final.
  17. Not all teams in the Premier have u20s teams.
  18. Substituted at half time in Burgh's defeat at Glencairn.
  19. Remember the Kyle Hutton scenario only a few weeks ago.
