  1. Today's Record Mmmm - looks to me as if the Bury Rangers story is a 'Bury Bad News Day' story so no one notices the one you have pointed out about them slipping into the SPL2/First Division. Looks like it's time for out friends in the SFL to step up to the plate and let their chairmen know they're not having it.
  2. So Rangers twats think they should not get punished because Jimmy Carr has an EBT scheme... what planet are these sad cases living on?
  3. emergency delegates meeting Wednesday June 20,2012 By Iain Macfarlane Have your say(0) CELTIC fans will vote on Sunday to boycott all SPL clubs who back the admission of the new Rangers into the top flight. The Celtic Supporters Association have called an emergency delegates meeting where it is expected they will pass a motion to snub clubs who say ‘yes’ to a newco. Would like to know what arse kissing MJ thinks of this threat from Celtic fans especially as he has probably spoken out more than any other SPL chairman in his support for the cheating b'stards to be allowed straight back into the SPL.
  4. Music to the ears from Fitzy when asked if there were no Rangers would it allow St.Mirren to have a better chance of challenging for honours. Sounds like Fitzy would welcome a league without Rangers. Good to see Fitzy still has high opions about our ability to challenge for major honours!! Fitzy for Vice Chairman.
  5. "........no, they would immediately terminate the contract when they refuse to go to the new company - they wouldn't remain at the old co until liquidated.
  6. They don't have to wait for liquidation to be TUPE'd over - and the company who TUPE them don't always go into liquidation - the company I used to work for still exist but TUPE'd me over to a new lot. The TUPE can happen at any time once the consultation has been done.
  7. Just received this from The Daily Ranger - given that I'm apt to think the majority of people registered with the DR are likely to be followers of Newco I thought I should post it on here so we can give them a more balanced view of the thoughts of the average football fan.
  8. Any chance of them changing the strip colour like they've done at Cardiff? I wonder what Mr Green's favourite colour is?
  9. Are two more SPL sides going to copy The Rangers:- Gregory Ioannidis ‏@LawTop20 Have a good weekend all. Off to advise two clubs in the northern part of the UK on an important & unusual sports law matter. It has been mentioned that two other SPL sides are watching what happens to Rangers and could go down the same route.
  10. What is Cockwomble all about if this is true:- Andy M @ Scotzine ‏@scotzine The SPL put their investigation on hold - why is that then? Cover up? Hoping it goes away? Influence from the top? Colin Paterson ‏@CP_acadvertiser There is no reason for the SPL to halt its investigation into the Rangers issue of dual contracts. It's a nonsense.
  11. FAN ownership of St Mirren appears to have moved a step closer after the 10000Hours group announced they had reached their target for support of their bid. Now we will be able to put the boot into "The Rangers" by being able to vote "No" to the NEWCO.
  12. I'm sure there was a piece in the Herald(?) last week about how they had retained the services of a lawyer in Scotland to represent them at the meeting. It was linked to on here. Edit: It was the Scotsman, and can be found HERE
  13. Nope - if the Newco is purchasing all the contracts then the players have only two options - go to the New Company or quit. They would not be able to remain with the old company - they would simply have their contracts terminated (there would be no redundancy - it'd be just like you chucking your job). For most people in the private sector (or for the office workers, etc) Tupe is a good deal (continuation fo contract, etc) for footballers it has an added bonus as other teams can now pick them up free and offer wee sweetners to the players since they don't have to pay a transfer fee for them.
  14. That's the best bit, they might think ha! ha! because they are starting again as a Newco but the EBT and the tribunal will come back to haunt them.
  15. And then the Newco finds out that the judicial panel have revoked their SFA membership! Priceless.
  16. Would love to have been a fly on the wall when the arse kissing Killie Chairman Michael Johnston heard the news that HMRC have rejected the CVA and liquidation is now inevitable.
  17. Hopefully the arrogance that Green and Co have shown throughout the whole administration saga will now come back to bite them when it comes to voting for a new co. The fact that they stuck 2 fingers up to the SFA which has quite clearly angered several SPL Chairmen will also hopefully have a bearing on how they vote.
  18. Noticed this quote on Twitter:- Jim Spence ‏@bbcjimspence Dundee United chairman Stephen Thompson believes clubs would not vote a Rangers Newco into SPL as things stand at present.
  19. If due diligence was carried out on King I think he would fall on his arse, because he has dodged paying tax in his native South Africa who are chasing him for hundreds of millions of pounds and as he was part of the last regime at Rangers I doubt he would be seen to be a fit and proper person to be in charge of Rangers.
  20. I see Dave King wants his money back:- Alasdair Lamont ‏@BBCAlLamont Dave King also says he's making a claim against club for the full amount of his investment, based on "deliberate non-disclosure by David...
  21. In the Record today (so its to be taken with a sizeable pinch of salt) it seems I'd suspended they would retain their membership in the SPL but teams who are due to play against them would automatically be awarded 3 points. it says this would cause problems as it would be unfair to teams who have to play them after their suspension ends, seem only to be talking about a small term of suspension, but everyone else seems to hope for minimum of 1 year. - which using the above would mean RFC automatically relegated to 1st next year as they'd be finishing on nil points. Edit:B.Dog beat me to it, and put it simpler too!
  22. They're still no getting it are they? When you read that piece it says they are willing to take a 6 month transfer ban and expulsion from the Scottish Cup for one year - is that still not a lesser punishment than the original 1 year transfer embargo? If anything they should be saying "we will take the original ban, and you can add on the cup punishment as a wee extra for our cheek in taking you to court" Seems to me they are still trying to dictate their punishment to the SFA. I'm sure someone on here pointed out that the SFA were now unable 'legally' to use the transfer embargo at all as it would leave them open to court action in future.
