That's right, it's my own pic. Think the bulk of the crowd were along the side but can't remember if there was segregation. -
Have to agree, had many cheery wee visits to Cliftonhill. Only made it to the Rock once with a QoS mate about 10 years ago. Missed both ICT visits there which is a bummer as I've seen them play at nearly every league ground, and 55 in total. It's quite important for me to get a decent photy as part of the experience. I stumped up the cash and visited the castle and got a shot from above. Unfortunately the castle is closed right now. I saw a good pic on FB the other day, taken from the other side of the park, but the guy had used a drone to get the height.

Queens could easily have beaten that last night too. -

Is Tom Walsh made of chocolate? Was almost permanently injured when with us. Aye, and since he came back to us, out of that list he’s probably the last one I’d miss, although some of the young team seem to rate him. -

I sense a soupçon of scepticism there… To my knowledge: Long term Robbie Deas (broken leg) Shane Sutherland (cruciate) Unknown (I.e. the club lets us find out by word of mouth) Danny Devine Tom Walsh Roddy MacGregor Scott Allardice Austin Samuels Daniel MacKay To these you can add that Sean Welsh has started the last couple of games so is overdue to get crocked. And our first choice keeper was effectively thrown under a bus by the manager at Cappielow and isn’t being picked… So get your money on >40 corner kicks this time -
Since this week's ICT capitulation wasn't due till 1730, I nipped down to Ayr for a 1330 kickoff in the WOSL Cup at Dam Park Stadium. Whitletts 1 Blantyre 2. One set of Vics propping up the div 1 table, the other in the promotion hunt, and it did show overall. Whitletts did take the lead but overall it could have been more. Lunch was 2 steak pies @ £2.50 and a Bovril @ £1.20. Excellent friendly people at Vics. Lived in Ayr for a year and would have liked to stay a bit longer, but had to get up the road for Doddsy's Disasters FC.

My apologies, you're both right. 19 March 1994 v Aberdeen, 1-3 I think. I dug out some old Kodachromes and just assumed it was 1977 when I lived in Ayr from April to the New Year. That July I went along to a PSF between Killie & Rangers. -

The main car park at Hampden is fine Sandy, if there's not a big game on. It's used for Hampden staff, the museum etc. I've parked there for games at Lesser before. Is that huge field behind Tryst Road not available these days? Assuming you mean back home? For this week I had been planning the Station Hotel at Larbert as it seems to be the best pub in the area. IIRC there's a tiny bar under the main stand (Warriors?) and I think I was once in another one across the pitch. -

Warning - this post does not contain socks... Main Stand and Johnnie Walker Stand, probably 1977 1994. Scanned from an old slide so poor quality. -
Tranent Juniors 4 OG Broomhill 0. The Podcasters started brightly but never really had a chance after Maughan's opener on the break in 5 mins, followed by 2 from McGowan and one by Reid. Tranent look more impressive every time I see them. They play with such a pace and intensity that they must be genuine title contenders. Broomhill were so hard pressed they could offer very little beyond shuffling it around between defence and midfield and long diagonals out to both wings. A good crowd of 658. Sub Si Ferry never got on but at 4-0 Tranent introduced The Legend Wayne Mac.

Aye, Falkirk, 6/3/93, QF. Seem to remember it was 3pm Saturday so surely not on telly? -

Took the chance of a 2pm kickoff to re-complete the EOSL grounds with a visit to "Pat Scullion's Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts" v "Ross Allum's Hill o'Beath Hawthorn" at Dalgety Bay. Haws impressed with their pace on the break. A late consolation for the Swifts made it 1-3 at FT. Headed back over the bridge to catch Bonnyrigg v Elgin, and I see it's Haws v Elgin next up in the Scottish. If you collect pin badges, Swifts charge the ridiculous price of £1. The last image is from the balcony where about a dozen miserable gets were watching for free.

Non League Scotland website
The Mantis replied to Burnie_man's topic in East of Scotland Football League
The site has Whitletts Vics playing at Voluntary Park (having been at Dam Park for 11 years) but the official club site has Dam Park. I'm pretty sure Dam Park is right? -

Never knew that. Played a game at West Pilton Circus back in the day. Everybody poured out of the Gunner at kicking out time and watched the game. Plenty of ref abuse, tripping up wingers, wifies hingin oot windaes etc. We won but we got in the cars and never bothered about changing.

I would email Geir or Lars-Erik directly with the problem. The address is kepermat something. I always found them helpful in the early days when you couldn’t add grounds yourself. They also have a fb page but I haven’t had much experience with that. Interesting that Meggetland in Edinburgh has the same situation as you describe and the Astro has been included. Same at Heriot-Watt.
