  1. Had to ramp the ISO up to 6400 for this, two ships battering past each other at about 20 knots each.
  2. I don't think they were making any noise, just that they were refusing to share the Werthers.
  3. This is a painting not a photo surely? Your eyes normally adjust to daylight or artificial light. Most photos are taken either outdoors or indoors. This one looks weird because it is both. Two different colour temperatures, the bluish daylight and the orange office lighting. I’ll dig out another example when I’ve got time.
  4. Aye, you can just about make out that the top left room says Edrington on the wall which is 100 Queen St. Just noticed that yesterday myself. Taken from The Lighthouse.
  5. Glasgow office. Who knows how many P&B members are sitting here pretending to be working.
  6. No me cause he's a p***k and about as funny as a boot in the baws Is that the Tory boy? Managed to slip in Shitehill Welfare for about half an hour back in the day. Classy.
  7. Running out of Faroes images now but here's one of Á Skørinum in Hvalba on the island of Suðuroy where FC Royn play in tier 3. They are back playing as Royn after a merger of all the teams in Suðuroy didn't work out. The coach of the merged team was Maurice Ross. Here's one I nicked off Wiki. Totally failed to notice when I was there but it's actually a grass pitch!
  8. Time to rescue the thread off page 5 10 weeks of sorting out images on the hard drive. Glen Canisp in 2016.
  9. These pics are 2 years old this week. My mate found some tawnies nesting in a tree so I went along with him and got some shots. They're round about lockdown distance from my house but haven't got around to looking this year. These are about 40 yards away with a 600mm and a bit of Lightroom.
  10. 1. 42 2. 37. Missed Peterhead, Dumbarton and Elgin trips. Also ICT have never starred at Annan or Cove. Also missed Berwick but they're not in the league any more. Did see Caley at Elgin though as well as old Peterhead. Also seen ICT at Telford St, Love St, Boghead, Brockville, Bayview, Firs Park and Gretna. (Also seen them at Astra Giurgiu, Birmingham, Fleetwood plus 2 grounds in Lewis and a few Highland League) 3. Tynecastle 4. Alloa on 7th March. 5. Tynecastle probably, or Easter Road. 6. Like them all, even the shite ones.
  11. April 1966. Got taken to Tynecastle for Penicuik v Bonnyrigg semi final as my uncle was Cuikie captain. Crowd about 11000. First proper junior ground would be Bonnyrigg probably the season after. Think they beat Arniston 7-2 with Dod Henry getting a few.
  12. I take it the park in Steelend is still used by ammies? It was still in playable condition last time I looked, although Ore Park looked a bit overgrown.
  13. Ha, the penny just dropped Just checked. Never realised they actually won 5 and drew 8, and 2 wins against Yenitit. Aye we beat them 5 times that year plus a 5-0 skelping in 2003 when they started coming up the leagues.
  14. Jeez, can you no see the guy's inconsolable. I was trying to cheer him up.
  15. Aye but we beat them every single time. Not everybody can say that.
  16. Is it Auchinleck or Cumnock that steal the trampolines? Would like to hear the story.
  17. Jeez, you guys have a thin skin. Good job it's waterproof though Never voted for Cappielow as worst btw.
  18. As much chance of a sunny day in Greenock as 3 points at the Caley Stadium.
  19. A mate of mine played for Alloa. Tiny gave a goal when it was questionable if the ball crossed the line and he protested "that's never a goal ref". Tiny says "Aye it was son, you'll read about it in the Sunday Post tomorrow".
