Give these lads a chance - we don't know if they'll be any good or not. It's great signing a big name like Chris Maguire but we all know how that turned out, don't we?

I'm one of those who'd f*cking love it if we beat those mutants, but I don't have the bravery to venture to that cesspit of a stadium and pay money to hear bile and poisonous chants for 2+hours (this applies to the other bigot cheek as well)
Also heard too many horror stories about the various missiles people have been pelted with.
To anyone who is going I applaud your bravery.
It's not fucking Beirut mate.

Boab needs that mic taken off him, he's embarrassing himself. Stealing Arbroaths patter and using it on repeat is a new low.
Ha! What patter was he stealing from them? I have to say i just blank him out a lot of the time.
Good win tonight in awful conditions, great hit from Ben Dempsey and a nice finish from Chalmers, too. I thought Arbroath were absolutely awful to be fair, we will face sterner tests this season.

Well, they do say it's starting at 3pm on a Tuesday so that won't help
Hence, a wee gate

Lee Johnson with McGeady would be interesting
I don't think Brown is as much of a cert as the papers would like to believe, if he was then why would we still be interviewing people today?

Don't think they're gonna get a big gate for this one.

Where are they meant to train?

McGeady was trying to use his contacts to get us a loan player when we were desperately searching for centre mids. It isn’t his role, but he was a part of bringing Senga in.
I recall McGeady saying that as well. Can't remember if it was during one of his podcast appearances or on an official club media thing but he certainly said that.

Gary Bowyer isn’t a rookie.
Unfortunately he's not coming.

I genuinely can't understand people wanting a rookie manager when we're in the shit. League one here we come.

Ayr United have appointed countless managers who were fresh faced and up and coming - the majority end in failure. What have Brown and the like achieved as managers that makes them so appetising?
As for Bowyer, I'm certain he isn't coming.

Maybe he wants to play closer to home and with a team playing much better football and getting results
Can you please let Smith know that we want Sir Ian McCall back and not Scott bloody Brown? Ah-thank-ye.

I fear for our next appointment, no way in suffering f**k do i want some of the names I've seen banded about online.

There might have been a few people unhappy with Bullen after the playoffs but wanting him gone was absolutely not the consensus amongst the fan base, it wasn't even the consensus in the P&B echo chamber FFS.
+1 for Curtis Woodhouse by the way.

What's wrong with the GK coach? Purely because the goalkeepers have regressed?
Hard to tell what the backroom staff contribute but considering they've all been here a while then aye would be happy for some fresh faces to come in
Just my personal opinion, I don't think he's up to much.

If we go on from here to appoint one of the merry go round names like Yogi Hughes I may explode.
White and McGeady until the summer. Book it.

Disappointed for Bullen as a guy, he's worked his arse off and been a great ambassador for the club. However, results speak for themselves and a change was required. I'm hoping a few of the deadwood in the backroom staff clear off as well; the GK coach being the first.

Not sure what McGeady has done to warrant even being mentioned in a caretaker role. Absolute no coaching experience other than coaching "badges" that I'm aware of. Just because he played internationally and in the English Prem, doesn't mean hes suited for a Championship level gig right now
He's done f**k all but he if we wanted someone to work within the confines of Mathie's Make Believe Management System then he's going to get the job.

If you look at Morton's backroom staff it is very similar to ours. I don't buy in to this myth that Ayr United have a massive budget because we have so many 'experts' on the staff; the likes of Morton and ICT are virtually the same as us.
Kelty game is now a must progress for Bullen, if we lose that game then he is gone. I have no idea who would want to come in and work with this bunch of players though, so I suspect it will be McGeady who gets the gig.

We really need three points today, no excuses with the injuries Arbroath have.

Just waiting for us to go full #imminent and then announce an extension to Jack Young's loan.

Ordinarily with Arbroath, Kelty and Arbroath again you could look at getting three wins in a row but that isnt something we have achieved in a long, long time. Stenny, St Johnstone and Alloa in the League Cup, to be exact.

What should our expectations be for this season and this squad? I honestly don't think they're good enough for the top four.

We didn't play that badly today...as we lost 3-1 to a team, with their manager in the stand, who hadn't won in their last five games.

McHugh and Sanders can both play full back (according to various sites) so perhaps one of them isn going in at right back?
As for Raith Rovers, they've actually lost more players than they've signed this window.
