  1. I'm getting mine later - i take it i'll be fine buying a few and just sending a screenshot of the code to whoever is using it via whatsapp or something?
  2. You guys really need to sign Michael Moffat before it's too late.
  3. Strangely enough this Kris Doolan programme signed by Stuart Bannigan is the only programme I have since about 1999, and that's just because we were in hospitality. Actually gutted to hear there isnt a programme for Stranraer game though as i'm taking my son to his first ever game and was definitely going to buy one as a memento. Ah well.
  4. 800/1000 or so season ticket holders depending how we do out of a home crowd of 1500 swaggering straight through might help once the league starts? Means if for example only 100 or so that are savvy enough to take 5 mins to buy online pre match do so, the queue will be tiny come October.
  5. Ahhh you canny beat that glorious feeling of early season optimism eh!
  6. As for the fitba itself - i'm normally pretty optimistic but for some reason i've got a feeling we will get beat today. Not even sure why as we have started well enough and Falkirk are clearly still gelling together but just got a sneaky feeling we could see a 0-2 here
  7. Falkirk fans will be fine then #prayfordennon
  8. I'm on both sides. It's not a racist song in the slightest and is no way comparable to say singing about 'Paki' or 'Chinky' as someone alluded to as those two are referring explicitly to a race / skin colour whereas the 'black' in the song simply is not. However, sad as it is that everyone takes it out of context and assumes it is ridiculously racist, i'd definitely rather we stopped singing it just to avoid the hassle as we have plenty other stuff to sing. Means we could get back to important stuff like arguing amongst ourselves about budgets and lack of ambition etc
  9. Aye. It just the webpage layout that isnt the best - it looks like the Stranraer bit is the heading for the page you are on, but its actually a link to take you to that game.
  10. Just tried the ticket link there - it looks like you are clicking to buy for the Stranraer game but when you select the ticket and go to basket it's Falkirk right enough
  11. Nah - as someone has said in the last couple of years Connah's Quay have scraped past Queens Park with 2 late goals, beat Edinburgh on penalties and lost to Dumbarton and an under strength Ross County in competitive matches. This one is all on Killie. Get it right up them I say! I doubt the vast majority of foreign fans checking the results have ever heard of either side this morning so the result will hardly even have registered outside the UK
  12. Ha - I take it the Dunfermline game was the one in March? Had a wee day out in Dunfermline before that one so don't actually remember the details of paying in....but now I think about it I do have an actual printed match ticket which makes sense!
  13. I think the big thing re: the ticketing will be getting the word out, and eventually the majority of folk will get into the habit of buying in advance which as a result will mean less issue with queues on the day for those who prefer not to / decide at the last minute. For bigger games you tend to queue for a few mins at the turnstyles anyway. Can see it being chaos at first though as a lot of people wont know about it until they get there. I was speaking to my dad last night for example and he hadnt realised there was a change, as he doesnt follow the Facebook or Twitter pages and hadn't been down for his season ticket yet. I've never quite understood the logic as the only time ive had to do it was away to Ross County, and on that occasion I turned up at the usual time just before KO and paid cash, exactly the same as I expected but just at a booth 20 yards or so away from the turnstyle haha. Edit: i do think the term 'cashless' adds confusion as it's not technically the case, as you can still turn up on the day with your £18 in cash but just have to pay at the shop rather than the gate (assuming i've picked it up right) ?
  14. Big queues at the ticket office - very flustered woman at the kiosk apologising and says they were told to expect 30 or so away fans! When have we ever taken that amount haha
  15. I just hope he doesn't become the new target for the boo boys Canny see it - they will be content with Harvie I reckon. Especially after McCall singled him out as the nect one to maybe get a big move in his interview on Friday.
  16. Was the record he was close to hitting last year for league clean sheets or clean sheets in all comps? Pretty sure it was all comps
  17. Should hardly even count...but thats another clean sheet for Doohan
  18. One of my first games that I remember as a wee boy. Garry Agnew scored a free kick and my uncle won the half time draw. Me and my cousin walking out the SRE singing "7-0 and a hundred pounds doo dah doo dah" is one of those wee memories that will always stick in my mind.
  19. To be fair at this exact time last season we hadn't signed any of Doohan, Murdoch or Smith and we didnt know if Harvie was any good. Depending who you spoke to Shankland and Rose among other were proven failures at this level and would get found out, while Bell, Adams and a few others would be completely and embarassingly out their depth. Personally i'd say the club is in a stronger position than it was a yeat ago, which again was a much stronger position than the year before that. The actual team probably won't be as good though, but you could probably say that about most teams who have just lost a 34 goal striker. It should however be good enough to stay up and I guess you then wait and see what the next year brings as things can change pretty quickly....
  20. Aye you are spot on there. Kind of wht I was meaning. Moffat was perfect for Shanks - Shanks did far more running but Moff was the 'clever' player, and when Shanks then got back into the box he was deadly (until January but im blaming the injury for that). 4 mins 50 in to this from Ross County away shows how well Smith and Shankland could link up btw.
  21. We also signed Keigan Parker from them haha Nah I keep a wee look out for Fylde, Fleetwood and Blackpool through my dad as he was at the Nautical College down there in the 70's and used go to games so find it quite interesting that we have played Fylde 2 years in a row now
  22. I was gonna head along to the Fylde game if it had been at Largs as I was driving through anyway. Kind of wish i'd went to Glasgow anyway - proud happy clapper as I am, I still don't think i'll see us bag 5 goals many times this season! Did Ayr mention it at all? I can only remember McCall saying we were playing Rangers and Queens Park. Only way I knew this was on was someone one here saying they had seen it on Fyldes twitter. Also - opening poster might know - is there any link between the clubs seeing as we have played similar style of game 2 years in a row ?
  23. I thought the same when Ayr got promoted then relegated again 2 years ago. But we kept the squad numbers with names and i've been totally converted. Bet u will too. Although you'll probably stay up anyway.
  24. It was the Thursday before the opening game last season that Doohan, Murdoch and Ferguson signed so you could well be right. I reckon 3 in. Doohan, young loan striker, midfielder.
