Our goalkeeper actually made some saves in that match, which I’ve hardly seen him do since or before. I don’t think PJ Morrison is good enough and he dropped a clanger at Darrell before that Airdrie match, but didn’t merit being dropped. Personally I don’t think we’d have lost so many points from that 3-1 Airdrie game if PJ had played.

We are the laughing stock of Scottish Football being the biggest club in terms of support that is at the lowest point of the pile relative to size. There is no one near us in that regard. It’s difficult to defend or argue against the ridicule and piss taking we get from other clubs fans.

Announcing the new signing at this moment doesn’t give me any excitement whatsoever. In no way does it compensate for the 45 minutes of shit and rank rotten performance from the players and management the other night. Please don’t try and patronise the support when Tuesday will take a lot to get many back onside

Dunfermline

The 1% chance Falkirk have on Saturday is if Airdrie don't know whether to stick or twist, Falkirk get off to a flyer like Dunfermline at home and get the score back to 6-4 by Half Time. Even then, there is no way Airdrie won't score on Saturday. I've got tickets, so i'll go along. Prediction, we won't loose the tie by more that 5

Always thought we'd have big problems with Airdrie having watched games in recent times. Airdrie are a rabble of a team who work their balls off for one another. They have learned quickly how to pass and play balls forward into spaces on their sticky pitch that the ball holds up on. The pitch is not an excuse though, Airdrie use it well to their advantage. However First Half Falkirk were never at the races. How McGlynn selected Williamson and has given a two year contract to Nesbitt and another year to McGinn seriously questions his judgement of players. I'm 50/50 for getting rid of him. Our big issue now is the season ticket uptake for next season will certainly drop. We've already handed out two contracts that shouldn't have been renewed. Morrison will be sold in the summer The board have done very well stabilising the club off field, but they now need to start playing the Bad Guy. I stupidly bought my regular seats for Saturday prior to yesterday, the club should offer refunds as way of an apology. Its not even like we have the players who could go out on Saturday and lay the boot in a bit, to make you feel a bit better. Too many are soft as sh1t.

No idea how this will end up. The best of Falkirk could turn up and still contrive to loose. The outcome of the league games goes for nothing, if Airdrie have a lead after tomorrow night I think they will win the tie.

Is the player “Paid Up” or agree a settlement

Sorry mate, the 2-2 draw, it should have been 4 or 5 nil at Half Time instead of 2-0. The 1-1 game at Falkirk, that was all down to us playing with 10 men.

But that was only due to Raith being due to play a Challenge Cup Tie on a Saturday when Falkirk would have had a league match. So Falkirk might have gone ahead on ppg but Raith would then have had a game in hand. The winding up of that season was a farce, and we all know it. McGlynn and the Raith Chairman came over as a pair of cnuts, wanting the title awarded to them, when football people would have reconstructed the leagues not to disadvantage any club due to the Pandemic. Raith Falkirk Airdrie Montrose and East Fife should have been placed in an expanded Championship, likewise the remainder of 1 should have been amalgamated with League 2. Elsewhere Hearts and Partick shouldn’t have been relegated

M&M couldn’t beat McGinn in two attempts in season 19/20 and totally shat trying to win what turned out to be the last match of that season. The following season they were shown up for what they were as managers, a pair of comedians. I never got the love in with McCracken, as a player he cost us in some big games. Hamilton Play Off and Cup Final spring to mind.

Donaldson, could easily slip a ball right and forward to Rowe in acres of space 5 or 6 times ever match and never does so. He always looks for something spectacular or gets pressurised, tied in knots and passes back to a keeper who is useless with the ball at his feet.

On 28/11. 2021 and 2022 I made the same lump sum payments to FSS. I’ve paid twice. I assume the 2022 payment takes a “membership” up to November 2023. That was the commitment if paying a Lump Sum through the PayPal facility, you had two commit to pay for two years. Currently I’m quite happy how FSS is run, good communications, representation within FSS and on the board. I’ll review my position in November, but FSS will need to remind me my fees are due as currently although a member, I’m no longer on a Direct Debit arrangement or Annual payment and it not the type of thing that you remember you got to pay.

I have twice paid annual membership to FSS, The mandate has now ended after the two year commitment and as yet I haven’t had contact about keeping subscriptions going. If I’m honest I’m not 100 % convinced fan ownership will grow very much or whether I actually believe in it. I subscribed for two years to put a few quid towards the club. I can’t help make comparisons to Bairnstrust and how that organisation was a vehicle for unqualified or unsuitable persons to be fans reps on the board. Ok, last night was abysmal, a lot brought on ourselves by fannying about at the back with a goalkeeper who looks totally uncomfortable with a ball at his feet, and i'm not convinced he's much good anyway. I don't really rate PJ Morrison but i'd bring him back in. It might give him a boost and he'd raise his game to be part of the Semi final and Play Offs The right back, Williamson played well first half, and is far better going forward than Rowe until he either ran out of steam or broke down again in the second half. Rowe is an issue for me. I never got the feeling we'd found someone exceptionally great, and he's been given an easy ride from fans. His decision making is very slow, second goal last night he should be challenging No2 to the ball from Mutch, thereafter i think 10 out right that received the pass from 7 was offside but that is immaterial now. Rowe also got himself injured earlier by shitting out a tackle. Rant over, no more trying to give folks game time, making substitutions after an hour just for the sake of it. No more trying to keep team, formation, tactics secret for Semi Final and Playoffs. Team to start every game from Saturday PJ Morrison McCann McKay Donaldson Henderson Nesbitt Oliver Burrell Morrision Kennedy. Right Back Williamson until he runs out of steam then Rowe if he wakens up. The Semi Final is just a bonus / distraction that winning would be financial utopia. Getting through the Playoffs has to be the be all and end all.

I’d now say we are the outsider of four in the Play Offs, and that’s two days after saying I did not fear any of the opponents. I cannot see us coming through these now. I’m usually positive but after tonight, there are some regulars who are so out of form it’s too much of a risk to play them.

Agree 100%. Last June we were so bad on, and only starting to get sorted off the park I genuinely thought Part Time football was returning and possibly even worse. It was only a matter of time before we’d have been relegated. Obviously it’s disappointing not to win this league and that’s down in particular to our away form and not beating the main opposition. We are likely to finish the season with the best home record, I know you get nothing for that, but at least the majority of fans have seen something better, plus a few great wins v Hibs Patrick and Ayr. We are in a Playoff likely Falkirk Airdrie Hamilton Alloa, not going to say we’ll come through this but there is no fear what so ever from that group. The Semi Final at Hampden is fine reward for the shit we’ve endured these previous four seasons to this and a chance of making the final and a lot more money. Season 23/24, who knows what division we’ll be in, but we’ll be In existence, Full Time and having a few quid in the bank and guys with some nouse running the show. Nobody could have said that a year ago.

Not sure the Airdrie lads issue, but it’s crap Three of us have season tickets, sit together but when it comes to matches such as we had for Ayr in the cup we needed three transactions to get our usual seats, there’s no facility to link and purchase on behalf of family and friends

Proposed pricing seems fine, just give folks option to pay “ Full Whack” from Day 1 if they want to or can afford to do so.

We’ve only had one home tie. We’re going to have at least 3 TV matches, quarter share of Semi Final attendance monies and at least quarter of a million in prize money. Luck in the draws, probably so, but maybe we deserve some luck.

Kind of thought that, its wrong way round on the guys image. Good that probably 10 sections from half way ( North ) towards goals ( West ) will be full. Any input how Inverness numbers are doing ? A 5.00pm Kick Off would have helped Inverness numbers.

Good to see respectable numbers being bought by our fans for this match and potentially 8/9 sections from North into West being full. Bit poor from SFA, if they only forward tickets piecemeal, you think they could let the club have all their sections to keep in the safe until time to open up a new section. Personally, I wouldn’t have issued any tickets in the first 6 rows A to F of any of the sections as the view is terrible, and I’d suspect these might be seats that are given to online purchases, where there is no choice of seat. Unfortunately missing this one, but be hopefully see us in the Final.
